Cool idea! It took a couple of weeks for me to work up the will to try and navigate the (look up vin, pair scanner tool) setup features .. but once I realized that those things weren't necessary to open the app and start setting up I realized it can be quite useful I need now is a Bluetooth or or USB syncable OBD2 reader which I just conveniently went to the link that you guys supplied for AutoZone for 36 bucks. You should definitely get this app for budgeting auto expenses. Fuel insurance maint

Now suddenly this app won't work on my old phones! Beyond pissed off... Also another annoying thing about the app is my live bluetooth datastream gets cut off each time my internet is connected or disconnected. I can't tell you how many times I've had to tap continue offline then re-pair the bluetooth and start over. Or vice versa, when the internet comes back on this app shoves a dialogue in your face saying its online again, then you have to start over. This company clearly doesn't think about

I actually didn't realize how much was available with this device. I had only used it 1 time. Especially the price I paid thinking it wouldn't have certain erase codes extra. Applying my info it tells me when to do everything. I was very surprised & thankful.... THANK YOU

Hypertough ht500 and this app work great ... it does read transmission fluid temperature on a 2002 Chevy Silverado and a 2019 Hyundai Sonata SE.... one thing that could be improved is to be able to see the read out of the transmission fluid temperature in the live data stream..THANKS

Update: I learned i should disconnect all other Bluetooth devices before attempting a connection with the dongle. Original: Always have trouble connecting via Bluetooth to my phone. This has been accross a few phones as well. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it is a downside.

Not sure if it's the app or the tool, I used it to connect to my truck after I got it worked perfectly later I used it again and it continues to say it won't connect doesn't work anymore.

I must say was skeptical. Due to the fact that it's 39.99 like you have all different types scanners and like realistically 100.00 is like low end scanner and 250 is kinda like mid level. However only open was Wal mart and needed scanner. I bought this and was shocked to my surprise it was way more in depth and more advanced than I thought it's legit better than my 200.00 scanner highly recommended for experienced or beginners

My husband bought one of the Hyper Tough brand code readers and it has helped us out majorly. I love that all I gotta do is use my Bluetooth to connect, go to the app, let it find the code reader, simply click Live Data, and it's starts recording what your vehicle is doing. It's easy to set up, and BOOM, there you are "ALL SET". It's pretty cool, how you get to pick the things you need or want to see when your driving if you're needing any assistance/help.
