Poor design. The app times out after 3 minutes and does not recognize that you are using the in app chat function. If the chat takes longer than 3 minutes, you are logged out of the app and the chat and have to start over and do the chat again, with a different agent! Additionally, the "technical " phone number listed on the app is wrong and sends you to a department at BCBS that has no idea what you are talking about.

BCBSTX App is terrible! I set up Biometrics , and it gives an error every single time. I have to type in the instead; so frustrating to have to do that when the app is giving you the biometrics option. Chat in US doesn't work, EVER, and can only be accessed in-app! I always get the error "Something went wrong". I can't access Actual Policy documents in the app. They're not listed anywhere. Who wants to carry a 100+page booklet around? This app is not convenient at all!

The BCBSTX mobile Android app is only good for seeing your . It is useless, really, whenever making payments. The app offers NO availability to make payments. Instead, you must go through a web browser to make payments. Why have the app without this payment feature? To make a payment either call in, and wait half an hour, or use a desktop browser and have all features but making payments. Don't bother with the app.

The app is helpful, but I can't access toggles on the app that I would like. Cost estimator and find a doctor crash every time. I'd like to know what I'll likely pay, but the current state of healthcare doesn't make that easy. I enjoyed talking to someone on the phone, but the online option helps. Otherwise, the system says you should know about your healthcare costs while making it difficult to discover.

Used to be great! Now when I try to with biometrics it asks to "Accept" the new of use. When I do that, it just goes back to the same screen. Then it will eventually say "BCBS keeps stopping" and gives me the option to wait or close the app. If I try to with a , it says cannot find and threatens to lock me out. This app went from priceless to worthless.

I'm not sure what the issue is, but it appears (like many others that have left reviews) that I am unable to because of a bug or some sort of old maintenance notification that has not yet been cleared. Specifically, the error I'm receiving is "looks like we've encountered an error. This can be due to poor connectivity or an issue on our servers." For troubleshooting purposes, I'm attempting to utilize both the biometric and to but both circumstances lead to the above error

The links are constantly broken, so if I want to find an in network provider I get "404 page not found", and same with viewing my claims or many of the other basic functions. It also doesn't save my or allow fingerprint unlocking, and once you use a you can't reuse it for the next 24 changes, so good luck getting in without resetting your every time.

RARELY WORKS The BCBSTX app has all the looks of a real app with none of the functionality. The physician finder which is the one thing you really need to avoid out of network charges has never worked in the two years I have has this app. I just deleted it and reinstalled it to see if maybe I wasn't getting an update and that did not fix it. At this point I wish I has a different health insurance provider because if the customer interface is this screwy than billing has got to be worse.
