I was able to record an arrhythmia on a pediatric patient. When I went to save the rhythm, I was asked to pay for the app. After entering my card, the app went back and deleted the rhythm I was trying to save. For the next 20 minutes, it would record but it wouldn't allow a stop and then it would freeze. If this is the quality this product has for the cost of the stethoscope and the program you have to purchase, I'm happy to send it back and get something better. Any ideas on what the issue is?

Update. 9/21/24- when sending recording to colleague Collie is unable to listen even when hitting audio. It sends us to the app.ego webpage which redirects us back to the Google Play store. From there we open up the Eco app which we already have open and .....nothing. I don't know if this needs to be fixed or if I now have to pay for a subscription.Great ability to magnify sounds for the hearing impaired. App is sometimes a little buggy. Android s don't have access to their library.

Playing the audio back is absolutely awful. Every single recording has what sounds like someone punching or tapping on the stethoscope and mutes the audio for a second, which definitely is not there during recording. Cant export as an MP3 either, which is ridiculous. So sound is screwed up every single time, audio playback way too quiet on phones, and cant export as more file types

Creating an has a common dumb programming error, REQUIRING email to be all lower case! AND when it rejects an email w a CAP, it just says "enter valid email". DUMB!! The app has two choices- "record" and"Start exam" which creates a recording + indication of where steth is. The audio is stored at EKO, and can be listened to w a link on the pdf of the exam. Thus big files don't need to be emailed.

So far so good. Good work on first gen app that records and plays back. I'd like to see an update that allows for pinch to zoom both the EKG and heart sound recording. it'll make it easier to see in a larger format. As it is now, the tracing is a little underwhelming. id also like the option to chose one or the other (EKG OR HR) instead of both. 6/16/19: better again, would like to see the ability to via fingerprint or iris recognition.

It needs to be more prehospital friendly or have an app option for prehospital exams. It is very helpful with the noise canceling, heart and lung sounds while transporting patients are easier to hear but to have to open the app, then go to app settings just to change it is a pain in the rear end when you're in the field.

update: first day the Android app s the Duo. I guess the server's traffic is overwhelmed. everybody is testing the app. and the Bluetooth connection is a little slow on my android device. otherwise, functioning as expected. thank you for a great product. original: Duo works great on my other iOS device. but my primary use device is an Android device. I'm just waiting for the Android for the Duo.

The Eko stethoscope is phenomenal and the app has significantly improved over the past year. It is very simple to take, view, and share recordings. The UI is well organized. Previously, the app struggled remaining connected in the background, but recent updates seemed to have fixed that. One minor problem I do have is that it is very difficult to scroll through a recording. It's very sensitive to any vertical movement when trying to scroll forward/backwards.
