When do you plan to fix what was broken with last update? App was helpful but no longer connects to device and started pushing "need to connect" notifications to the app in the middle of the night.....? Yes, I read all the "help" items on the device/Garmin website. Until the last update connecting was solid/automatic. Please fix. Thanks.

Will update when fixed. Pixel 8 Pro - The app connects to XT2 via bluetooth successfully. The XT2 is still stuck in the "Searching for Garmin Tread App" screen. I have to hit cancel to get to the home screen on which the "T" shows up, but the device is not getting Traffic or Weather information from the phone. I must have reset the device and bluetooth connection at least a dozen times. Works with no issues on a iPhone 12.

Explore and this are similar, then I have earthmate for my InReach. Worst of all this isn't anything like Ultimate Campgrounds. They just bought the database and tossed the functionality. The beauty of UC was its filters. Unless I just haven't dug deep enough into Tread it appears that ability to filter campgrounds is gone. Garmin is missing the boat on this. Another example of a big company buying a successful small product and destroying it.

Been using Garmin software and GPS devices for 25 years. And in that 25 years they've barely updated any of their software or interfaces. Yet another horrendous piece of software to complement their appalling and non-existent customer .

While it allows weather and notifications while connected to the XT2, if you try to import routes using tread, it will change your plans. It modifies shaping points and makes the imported route unreliable. It's a shame Garmin couldn't make it more compatible with their Basecamp PC app.

App REFUSES to route me where I want to go... keeps going the very very long way round when I know there is a road there... so sorry I bought this xt2 This tread app is NOT easy to use as they claim

This app works great if you just want to use it without a garmin device. Once you connect a garmin tread GPS, then do not expect for the Explore Library to sync your data back and forth reliably. Opening a case with garmin then turns into a multi week exploration of pain.

The routing is different between the app and the gps. It's been a few times now where I've created a route, been happy with the default routing, then re open it on the gps only to find its chosen a completely different route through the waypoints and now I have it edit the route back to how it was displayed on the phone.
