In general, the app has increased my awareness of my driving habits and made me a safer driver. However, I have experimented with the app and found some unrealistic results. I found that normal stopping at 35 mph for a red light in response to the warning yellow results in a penalty for excessive braking. I've found similar results for normal acceleration following a stop for a traffic light. There is no penalty for going through a red light, only for braking quickly to stop for the red light.

First day using it. Almost all instances of "speeding" were on sections of road that were not the speed they thought it was and haven't been that speed ever or for ages (it thinks a stretch of road that has been 50 mph for as long as I can is 30 mph, similarlyit thinks a part of the a town is 25 mph when its 30 mph and always has been). Trying to decide if it's worth keeping to see if it improves.

Far too inflexible , means that one cannot realistically dispute garbage reporting from the not all that sophisticated AI employed. If one is forced to slam on one's brakes because a cat runs out into the road, one is penalized for tailgating. Similarly, if one's phone moves around on the seat next to one, while its screen is on, the system assumes one is using one's phone while driving. people just stonewall.

The app should take into the area that you are driving in. In Florida if you stay at the speed limit on most highways, you are an obstruction. The app should also monitor driving in the left lane at are below the speed limit. That is a major cause for others to start driving irratically, and that's why it's banned in Florida, but poorly enforced.

"Allow all the time?" I don't think so. Y'all don't need "all the time" access, "only while using the app" is more than sufficient. Seeing Cambridge anything on an app prompts me to uninstall it immediately. They already have enough of people's personal data, they don't need 24/7 access to personal movement. You can do better, AARP.

App does not let you PASTE in a , which is supposed to be long and complex. It also simply fails with web server errors (after long delay) even after you get the correct credentials in. It seems to just be a clunky and slow front end to a website, just like the Pubs app from AARP.

The App seems pretty good BUT it is always sending me a notification that says Location Service Required .. Enable Google Location Accuracy. Well I have Precise Location Enabled at all times so what else needs to be set?!? PS: I would have sent this as a item but no address was provided....

This app is not accurate by any stretch of the imagination. It reports severe or hard breaking when there isn't any. Their algorithm is definitely off after a few months of testing. Today reported two instances of heartbreaking when there wasn't any at all. I wouldn't trust this app to save my life. Uninstall today.
