The app's aesthetics are quite pleasing, but it feels a bit premature. To receive updates from the car, it's often necessary to close and reopen the app. The option to remotely open the trunk is missing, and it's not possible to set multiple daily climate control schedules (for example, I want the car preheated in the morning and evening on weekdays). The ability to use a phone as a key is absent, which is a killer feature in Tesla models.

Edit: the app works and "cannot sync car" issues have disappeared - it took 1½ months to get IT at HQ in Sweden to get it solved. Improvement possible: pre-climatising car only works for the temperature and settings at the time you last last your car. Also, car info is only updated when 5G is strong or when the car is charging (e.g., car has been parked for hours now, but app still thinks the car is "in use"). Edit: app refuses to connect to the car, while the car has a good internet connection.

The functions to climatize or unlock the car just doesnt work most of the time. The app says it can't reach the car. Also to view up to date information you need to completely restart the app, it does not seem to update the data otherwise. It can also be quite slow to update even after a restart, and there is no indication a fetch is being made in the background.

The features are great. However, for a very basic app, it seems very slow. Sometimes it can't connect to the car or save any settings. It often randomly logs me out of my Volvo , requiring me to again.

Like that it told me I hadn't completely closed the bonnet, check it's locked and check the tyre pressures! Unlike others, no issue connecting to the car at all. I would like biometric though. Switching to email for codes is very clunky.

How can you create an app that has very limited functionality and even this functionality doesn't work properly. It logs me out every second time I try to use the app (and everything seems to work after I kill and open app again). I believe you can do much better!

Car is great but the app is the opposite. Struggles to connect to the car so you have to kill the app to refresh everything. Why can't you set a temperature in the climate section or close windows if they are open? Why can I only set a schedule once for the climate and why does it switch off all the time. Got to be time to review it and add more features please Volvo

The toggle to enable automatic OTA software updates is missing, and, as automatic software updates is set to Disabled, there is no way for me to install the latest update. This is a major flaw which means I have to take the car to a dealer just to keep it up to date.
