It's great - when it works. I've had my shave less than a month and it never pairs with my phone twice in a row. I get the pair button but it never connects. I force close the app then re-open and all of the informational dialogues are duplicated twice. Only when I forget the device and re-repair does it work. I can't be doing that every time. Philips, if you can reach out to me I'll gladly send some screen grabs, recordings, logs what ever you need to solve this.

Took ages to connect. Just bought 7000 series and was quite keen to use the app. Tried for 45 minutes to get it connected with no success. Reset the shaver, restarted my phone, tried everything I could see in various 3rd party videos (that such videos exist at all should tell you all you need to know about this). Then another hour on, I tried again and it connected straight away. It baffles me how something as commonplace as bluetooth pairing can be so flawed.

Purchased an S9000 Prestige shaver a few days ago but the app does not recognise it. (Model SP9885). Can't link it via Bluetooth as this model does not it. The shaver is excellent but pretty poor that the app does not appear to be up to date. 29 October. Thank you for your reply. However I use neither FB or X. Can I you another way?

Does not pair, tried everything. Pathetic. UPDATE: Finally got it to work, this is what I did: 1. Do not pair via phone bluetooth UI. If paired, unpair. 2. Start the app 3. Add device, my model 4. During searching, click the shaver power button (do not hold down) and let the motor running. 5. The app will now display the connect button (after about 30 seconds). 6. Click connect. 7. The app will show that it’s connected. Click next.

App never works. I tried what you Phillips Consumer Lifestyle B.V. stated on 9/17/24. Still no luck. I have tried everything to get this app to work. I've cleared the cache and data, uninstalled the app, and unpaired blooth and factor reset the shaver. The shaver will connect to the app, and once the shaver is turned off, you get a message on the app saying not connected. I have tried to get this app to stay permanently connected for months. The app has been updated to the most current softw

Like others, almost all reviews(!), I have been unable to get the app to connect to the shaver (S20 Ultra to S8692 shaver). I'll keep trying. Note that I do not use Facebook or X so disappointed that these systems seem to be the only way the developers connect with app s.

I have read the the reviews, this is my first electric shaver. I was excited about it so I spent the money on this high dollar shaver, but now I see what the reviews say about connecting issues IT WONT DO IT!!! I was hoping it would give me pointers on how to use this shaver but it just won't connect to app, I tried scanning the model number, putting it in manually and it just doesn't work. Nice shaver put I didn't spend over $100 for this not to work. Norelco it's time to fix this....

Will not connect my shaver to the app. I've deleted and reinstalled the app, deleted all cache, done everything possible, but comes up with a 'cannot connect to device, the devise is re.........' I cannot unpair as it won't pair in the first place!
