I own the Sonicare Diamond Clean model HX9957/81 and the toothbrush itself is great, but the mouth mapping during brushing is not the best. I have 2 gold crowns and it's in those areas of my mouth that the app says I need to brush again, after I already brushed. Every single time. Also it would be great if you could pause the brushing for a few seconds to spit.

Either the app is dumb or the brush or both. Teeth cleaning is great. For set up - this must be the worst hardware and software that you'd need to work with. Connecting the brush with the phone the first time is tricky. Afterwards it connects almost instantly. Syncing takes forever. If the phone screen goes off the syncing starts from the beginning. Information is here and there (maybe the brush memory isn't a lot but then how much info can it get from vibrating. Is it worth the money? Maybe not

Horrible app with the potential to be a good tool. The Bluetooth connection is very finicky. It takes a lot of work each and every brushing to get connected. This has been mentioned in several YouTube reviews. It should NOT be such a problem that it discourages people from using the app. Tech walked me through reconnecting but the next brushing it failed to connect again.

The app is good but it is the toothbrush which needs improvement. As I am one who doesn't have a phone surgically attached to me, I don't take it into the bathroom when I brush my teeth. Therefore the app tells me that I haven't brushed my teeth when in fact I have. The brush should have the ability to store your brushing activities for a few days and then sync when next in with the phone.

I have a Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 toothbrush. Last August, I found that I could no longer connect the toothbrush to the app. I have made numerous calls to customer and have been told that they are working on the problem and maybe it will be fixed in a future release. Toothbrush works well, but Philips gets a zero for software development and . Would not recommend this toothbrush.

Not connecting to the Bluetooth. Whenever I try to connect to the Bluetooth and it says not connected. I bought this toothbrush because the one it is replacing, I can't find any heads for it. Now you worked on my last nerve. My dentist office says I needed to find a new electric toothbrush. I can't even get ahold of you through us or a chat message. I think I got a defective 5100 toothbrush. Let me connect, or I will return your toothbrush that is not connecting to the app.

Absolutely ridiculous that I'm REQUIRED to create an to use a toothbrush. You people have lost it. Returning this to the store. Regarding the developer's response: No, it is not necessary to create an if all I want is to change settings or start a timer. A toothbrush shouldn't need a ! As it is, I've returned these brushes, as you're making it impossible to use all their features.

Frustrating experience. Connects ok, but after a week, I no longer able to get the brushing portion done. When I start, it switches to tongue cleaning. Even tho I have tongue cleaning muted/off. Need to have your phone next to your sink, not ideal. Deleted app.
