I get a Phone not compatible message. It 'works" on my old pixel 7 but it will not work on the pixel 9. However, on the pixel 7, I have no idea if I have a successful transmission or not. This app is really junk. I'm going to guess that it very likely works on iPhones, but people who have Android phones can just do without.

The app is not compatible with updated phones. As a leader in cutting-edge medical equipment, I was thrilled to be able to monitor my heart issues on my phone...until I got a better phone that tracks health better. Then I discovered how many newer phones this app hasn't caught up to. This is a serious flaw. I keep checking back for an update but, almost two months later, still nothing. Now I wonder what the point was in having the procedure when I can't monitor or report an issue. Major fail.

The app still doesn't work with the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold 3 months after release. I am having to use my old phone just to track and even then sometimes it doesn't even open. There has been at least one occasion when I haven't been able to log a symptom because the app doesn't load. It's not fit for purpose which is ridiculous considering there is an INCREDIBLY expensive medical device in my body that can't communicate properly with the cardiologist. Wild.

Booo! I wonder when I will regret the agreement (use App vs bedside monitor) I certainly wish I had read through these reviews first! Initially the App seemed to be working fine but soon my battery life was severely changed & I have to charge it 2 & 3 times daily. After researching for solutions I decided to do a deep cleaning now battery works great but this App does not! Last wk's transmission only captured a few seconds of data. * I want to return this [too glitchy] & try Boston Scientific

The app worked fine until recently, except for running my battery down because it had to stay running in the background on my phone. Just today however, it became unusable on my current Samsung phone. This is unacceptable!!! They have installed a device in my chest that needs to be run by an app, then arbitrarily decided I need a new phone in order to use it. Very dissatisfied 👎👎👎 I have a smart phone, although not the newest model, it is 2 years old. Ridiculous

Medtronic and my MD request that I keep the app always running. Even though it has a background process, they really do want the UI minimized. That said, the app doesn't automatically restart when the phone reboots so I have to manually start it. And when I do, the app appears to hang displaying its splash screen about 80+% of the time. s from my ICD are thus unlikely. And I've found no way to submit defect reports to Medtronics. 😥😳

Every once in a while this app needs to be forced STOPPED and restarted because it's starts to use WIFI significantly and drains the battery very fast. Why??? Mine is not scheduled to data for another 3 months and it was still consuming lots of wifi data and storage on my telephone device. I have the latest Samsung UI and model. After a restart it is fine. Please fix this SIGNIFICANT BUG.

I hate to sound like I'm piling on, but what others have said is true: the app is simply awful. It regularly crashes and fails to relaunch itself. When you notice and relaunch it manually sometimes it takes it several minutes to start communicating with your device again. It is horribly coded and Medtronic doesn't seem to care. (Last update 10 months ago despite reviews reporting issues.) I don't think my doctor trusts it. They got the data from my ICD instead of using what the app sent.
