Until lately it was great, but the ads are going crazy. The ad for solitaire is horrendus!

3 major complaints. All 3 computer players will stuff cards regularly, unless you are taking the trick. Then it will give you the queen or hearts every time. Also, when a computer players run the hand, the others don't do anything to stop it. They almost help it! But if the computers sense you are trying to run them, it magically stops you almost every time. You have to have an absolute sure fire runner to even think about. So these 2 issues are just not realistic. Too many commercials too.

Latest update SUCKS. The"tap to play a card" showing before every single play and flashing off and on as a result is INCREDIBLY annoying, and I don't need it! At least make it so you can turn that off! And moving the buttons around on the dialog box so I now tap "play again" rather then "exit table" is annoying, too, but something I could get used to. By the way, full screen ads before every single game, even if you don't exit the app? I force exit the app and reopen it to get around those.

I am very pleased with this game, and it was worth it to pay the small price for no ads. I recently had a hearts game app, which played almost similar to this one in looks and actions. It had ads that kept constantly running at the bottom. It also would run ads between games, which would force you to watch, before it gave the option to skip the ad. Things came to a head which I noticed that the game was attempting to connect to sites that were 'bad' sites, including one PORN site! I noticed this as I have a netwrok traffic monitor, with an alert system. It had noted the issue in the log, and alerted me of the connection attempts. I immediately removed that hearts game and it will NEVER see my system again.

I enjoy the animated characters, who really progress from weak 1-star to strong 5-star. Several variants are worth exploring (e.g., always left, or alternate player). Google's ads sometimes hang up the game, but that's not the developer's fault. Pony up or whine to Google! At least the developer responds courteously to comments! One complaint is that the 5-star players are pretty dumb. They don't realize that if they're far behind in 2nd place, picking on the player in 4th, or shooting the moon, is rather dumb. I've seen this often: once a 5-star player has a space of about 20 pts between himself and the next-placed player, it's pretty much over. Applies to me, as well. A truly 5-star player would attempt to damage the player in 1st place, but as far as I can tell their strategy employed guarantees that once a player is in a comfortable 1st place, he more or less stays there except on *very* rare occasion. They also aren't very smart about catching a shoot-the-moon. I've used both weaknesses to my advantage quite a few times: after more than 100 games, my win % is higher than that of pretty much all the 5-star players, so I can't be playing all that badly!

AI plays well enough for me. Add TRAM option that a lot of people want. Also please add a queen of spades played, breaks hearts option. EDIT: At top setting the AI is quite good. And just as AFK, AI sometimes will not cover es. And one more option request. Please allow me when 'shooting the moon' to deduct 26 points from my score instead of adding 26 to all other players. EDIT2: The addition of full motion ads on the free version is terrible. You have not addressed any of my requests, so I won't buy. EDIT 3: I am more impressed by the AI as the game will 'adjust' how players 'switch' sides during the game based on the score. This is how it is supposed to work in real life. As others have stated, version 1.352 stutters on Android 10. You REALLY need a TRAM option

Update: I have had and played this game for an eternity in mobile phone time. Many different phones. It is the best portrait mode option for Hearts out there from a game play standpoint. The problem with he advertising stopping the game has been fixed. Thank you development team for your reply and improving the experience. I understand that advertising is largely out of your control.

The game function and playability are decent which is one of the most important factors. The ads can be annoying, but that's the price of free play. The AI does not always play fairly or seemingly well but decent enough to give a challenge and make you want to come back to have another crack at it. The maker seems to be interested in improving their product, which makes me a fan.
