Review measurement histories

Customize your sound meter
Save audio file while measuring
Set decibel warning when the value is higher than the preset one
Open the sound or vibrate for the warning
Apply the black or white theme

Other features of sound meter:
Re-start measuring
Suspend recording
Rename, share and replay the recording
Indicate the measuring duration, time and status

Notice:
1.To get an accurate decibel of sound with this decibel meter (noise meter), please calibrate before use (because the performance of the microphone will be different for each device).
2.Adjust the decibel according to your experience or calibrate with a real sound meter device for comparison. (Because we couldn't estimate the different decibel between devices, we do not provide a specific solution.)
3.To avoid unnecessary loss, please SAVE your recording before exiting the sound meter app
4.If the recordings are not saved, you cannot replay the measurement.

Ads with sound is total evil for sound metering app. Also needs calibration -10db when used via android phone build-in mic.

Very accurate. I've tested it with a calibration tone generator, to calibrate, and ran the app side by side with a professional sound meter, and the results where within a half of db of each other. I have been recommending this app to my friends. So, if you're in any doubt about ing this app, all I can say is try it for yourself. I think you'll be impressed. Oh, and you can record and keep your results.

- Decent guideline. - Does what it says. - Pretty, accurate in a round about way (I'm using a Galaxy A70, other phones may vary). - Nice features. - Ability to permanently remove ads, for free by watching 5 ads. - Adding a crosshair cursor on the RTA would be a helpful update to acquire more accurate readings. - An integrated FFT for frequency analysis, would also be a helpful feature.

I am a class teacher and use this app for keeping the noise in my class under control. Hence the paragraph below reflects my problem. While the app is perfect to work with, possibly there is a lack that I am going to speak about. It had been better if you would had provided an option of using the alarm sound of us s' choice. You could had provided for selection of the alarm sound from s' card, that is to say.

5/5, the most important feature for me is ability to save recordings and the history. There are many great apps with faster interface or more options, but they are lacking persistence and it is super easy to lose whole session by tapping accidentally button within app or closing it altogether. Ability to share recorded sound as a file for analysis is amazing! Thanks! ;)

When saving and reviewing history, there is no ability to review the file to see where the peaks in noise occurred and to skip to that portion of the recording. It purely saves just an audio file that can only be played from the beginning in real-time. No ability to see the chart of noise level over time or ability to skip around in the audio file, which ends up making it kind of worthless.

Unless you need very specific/professional measurements just get this. Make sure to calibrate it. UI is intuitive. It gives z weighting which is all i need. I can just plug the data into a computer/spreadsheet if i'm going to be doing any data analysis. And provides a way to get rid of ads for free while ing the devs! All of the others just want to steal money from you. $3 for A weighting? So expensive. A weighting only works well for sound that isnt very loud.

Excellent! This app does what it says. Ads aren't invasive and don't interfere while running the app. Wish there was some way to see the sound graph spikes when you save audio files. I'm not sure if i am calibrating correctly. Do you adjust the level to match with what the meter says? Or do you set it to the decible level you want the microphone to pick up? I was playing around with this and it recorded the neighbors conversation in the house next to mine. Made my mic on phone more sensitive.
