"Male sure all the dots are visible on your mobile screen" is said again and again. Trust me, all the dots are visible. In addition, the PD estimate is ok, but it seems to vary by up to 2 mm under repeated measures (and it has never equaled my actual PD). This doesn't seem accurate enough to be useful unless you're truly unwilling to visit a trained professional.

Very accurate. Matched optician's measurement and my own measurements using a ruler in a mirror. Also got single vision distance glasses parameters correct. First app measurement was exactly correct while using the best direct lighting against a solid white background and my driver's license. Second measurement was 0.5 mm under due to non-solid background and mixed lighting. I recommend taking multiple measurements with the app and also multiple ruler measurements while ing for parallax.

I ed this app in order to try to figure out my ipd so I can tune my VR headset. The process wasn't exactly difficult but it did work in about 3 minutes after getting the lighting right and holding my phone at the right distance. Giving it 3 stars, because after duplicating the test 4x I got four different scores, so I'm more or less waiting to see what my eye doctor says. 🤷♂️

No matter what I did, even switched from my large monitor to my laptop, it kept telling me I was too fsr or too close to the screen or kept repeating to make sure I could see all the dots on my mobile screen, which I could. If it did finally taken all the readings, if just get the message that it was too blurry and I needed to clean my camera, cut down on reflections (I had pulled my blinds down) and that my lenses needed cleaned. My arms and hands got too tired and cramps to keep it up.

10/10 - I couldn't find a mm ruler on hand, and I was actually having a hard time measuring to begin with. I almost gave up til I saw this app. I scanned three separate times, and two were the same, and the other was extremely close. Not sure if I would've figured it out without this. It is super easy and doesn't even take 5 minutes. For those worried ing your credit card, I just used my license and it worked fine. Will be back to this app for sure!

Doesn't work. On laptop it is unable to recognize the dots on the screen and keeps prompting. *Edit - this was attempted in various lighting conditions with no backlighting and repeatedly cleaned lenses. If the app gave some indication of what it could recognize and what it couldn't, the usability would greatly improve. At one point the app told me I was too close, immediately followed by I was too far away without me having moved

This app is really easy to use and pretty darn close also. I mean if you're using it to get the IPD on your VR headset at the right setting this app will do the trick without needing a stupid ruler. I did it three times to see if it was going to be different results each time and was surprised that the readings were consistent. Not only that, but I had already had my IPD on my headset at the right setting. So this app pretty much just gave me confirmation that I was using the right setting.

This app does exactly as d; perfectly. Simple to the point interface, rather, it's the better clean that even most of the top apps don't have. By that I mean no useless "features", no pandering of services that I didnt ask for nor need, and more. Put it this way, I don't normally write reviews at all, but since this app saved me time and was properly built, it's only proper for me to give thanks. I'd say more positive things, but Google's 500 character limit is telling me to shut up.
