I've used Duolingo alot and this app follows same pattern. Had awesome experience. UI can be smoothened up a little. Except that, everything felt great. Thank you :))

Have some Bangladeshi coworkers. This apps been helpful in assisting a native English speaker in communicating. Looking forward to more learning and use. Still beginning.

The app seems great after a short 5 minute play But there are a couple of features I'd like to see included: Fluency level: the lowest level still assumes you know the basics. Which I do not. I do not know a single Bengali word A back button, while learning to chain together words or phrases, it would be helpful to be able to go back to the word or phrase on the previous page Other than this, it seems amazing and I have already signed up for the annual subscription

Intermediate here! It's a nice app that can help us but it kind of like jumped to formal speech. For example: "Apni" is actually formal, so I'd suggest using "Tumi" (informal) or "Tui" (usually refers to children, if the speaker is an adult, but we can use "Tumi" for them too.) Also some suggestions: 1. Dark Mode 2. Dialects: I'm not really familiar with any other dialect, but it says "Balika" while in my dialect (Indian) it's "Meye". Please let me know If I'm wrong.

As a native speaker, I tried this app to see how good it is and.....what I'd like to say is that you could improve upon the pronunciations. র sounded like ড় and so on. Standard Bengali has many aspects to it and I don't think all of those were covered. Sentences like আমি একজন নারী। sounded a bit....well... extraordinary. That's because normally you'd say মহিলা/মেয়ে in the day-to-day conversations.

It is ok, i would have liked a section to learn the letters of bengali to help with reading instead of always reading romanised text. | The 1st 2 begin lessons are free and the rest costs money but the app desc says its ALL FREE therefore its misleading. I understand that the dev team needs . However, Duolingo lessons are ALL FREE and dont need money to teach a great amount of a language, and only needs money for Duolingo Plus. | Thanks for reading this, i look forward to improvements

This app is really great! English is my first language and the pronunciation is very clear and easy to practice with. I also teach ESL and I really like that learning Bangla on this app is very similar to my teaching style. Excellent app service. I really want to learn Bangla because my husband is Bangladeshi and I would love to better communicate with him and my lovely family. I think this app will make me successful in achieving this goal.

I'm a native Bengali speaker and this app is nice. But I think there are some flaws. At the beginners level, the very first sample Bengali words that were given (for boy, girl, man, woman), were too much formal and even archaic. We say ছেলে (chhele) instead of বালক (balok) for 'boy'. Likewise, মেয়ে (meye) for 'girl', not বালিকা (balika). The words balok, balika are never used in colloquial speech. Also for writing Bengali, the stroke order given is totally wrong. I hope you would consider this.
