This is a time wasting. The advanced level is just a beginners level. The most boring way of unlearning languages. On the top of it there is no way to cancel it. I wrote them already 3 times that I want to cancel. They charging me first month instead in spite of that is written on my profile that is a free trial. Do not sign up for. Is boring the way they try to teach and they don't make it memorable the words.Oh and is written "manage subscription" where you cannot manage anything.

The description is a bit misleading because you can only learn 33 languages for free for 7 days, then after it becomes a monthly subscription. However, my biggest problem with it is that it is only for beginners. Even after declaring an intermediate or advanced level my first lesson consisted of learning the French words for "mother" and "meat". If you are a beginner and don't mind the subscription, it's a nice app with a good concept and may work for you.

The beginners level and the intermediate level shows no difference for German language. I also feel it's really slow for each lesson. There are no explanations for how to structure a frase. I've tried other apps (to learn French) that motivate more to learn than this one. It sucks since I already paid for it.

I chose to learn Spanish using French as my medium - it makes it easier to become more fluent in both languages. Lessons are short and give swift results- if I miss a few days or weeks I can go back to catch up. It's a great app, reading, writing, speaking listening -and thinking! I've been revising my Spanish GCE 'O' level (from 50 years ago!) for a year now - effortlessly!

I really wanted to like this app, but it is just too flawed. The hands-free mode is a great concept, but the voice recognition it uses is garbage. If the word it's listening for is 2 syllables long, it just just ignores my voice entirely... if it's longer than that, it only picks it up sometimes, maybe 60% of the time. It's so frustrating. The other mode of study is just flashcards, which is mediocre and not what I want from a monthly subscription.

I've been on the Mondly French course for two or three months. Initially, everything worked fine, but now, since the recent upgrade it has become hopeless. It doesn't give sufficient time for me to answer their questions, and the AI listening is totally incorrect in reporting what it "hears". Returning to the earlier version would resolve all these problems !!

Meant to share on last update. It feels the quality to learn declined. There is too much obvious picture matching with words, you don't learn like that, let alone on the advanced setting that I'm using. It used too have more writing exercises in the daily sessions, which helps to actually use the brain, retain info. Lees incentive to check out a verb and it's tenses during the exercise. Pictures make it flash, but less qualitative learning. It reminds of a version from many years ago :(

Don't like the new version, it was better before. Been learning french for about a year now. Some of what it teaches is ridiculous and would never be used, some of the questions are wrong and it marks you as incorrect when it is correct. Sometimes it tests you on something you haven't learnt yet. So basically, don't take any notice of the scores. It's OK for improving my french a bit but it's limited.
