Stay away from this app! I booked a trailer and the host confirmed, after that she asked for more money saying the app didn't calculate the delivery, which I call BS, because I did paid 250$ as a delivery fee, since she accepted that means I'm subject to HER cancellation policy, and she won't cancel. Customer service is completely useless. I had to file a fraud case with my credit card to get my money back!

Search filters need improvement. I live within three hours of Canadian border; I would not go into another country to rent a vehicle. Need "Stay within the USA" as an option. Should also be able to eliminate results as I review. Also need to fine-tune the "Vehicle Type" parameters as those I intentionally left out of the search appear in it cluttering up the findings with something I specifically left off. Also, search within specific dates is essential.

Tried this app for the first time to rent a trailer and once booked I wasn't able to the driver because their wouldn't accept the requiref selfie photo, tried several times until it was finally accepted. But it still won't and their customer center is unable to help. The app sucks and is complicated to navigate, it also sent hosts unauthorized booking requests from me, when all I was doing was researching and comparing prices. I would never use this app or this company again.

The app is average to poor at best. As others have mentioned, authentication is spotty. The app also seems to freeze up from time to time depending on navigation. The company itself is horrible. Poorly vetted hosts, Ticketmaster-like hidden fees, and annoying policies (being spammed by other offers after a booking??). I've even had a booking cancelled by the host and my fees weren't returned. Scam. Safe yourself the headache...look elsewhere.

Edited my review, since Outdoorsy seems to be responsive and care. My issue with the app is that if you have a pending reservation, it reverts to pickup and you can't update it without loading in a browser. As far as renting goes, I'm 0 for 6; I've tried to rent different RVs and 2 owners declined and 4 let the offer expire. I've never had that experience with RVShare (4/4 success).. I have started being spammed with offers for other rigs, however...

The app becomes unusable when I tried to cancel my booking, which resulted in me ing the cancellation period and Outdoorsy refused to refund me. I have provided the screenshots of the errors for the issue and they claimed the technical team has "investigated" and ignored my request anyways. Absolutely horrible. *UPDATE*: The customer team has reached out to me to follow up and resolved the issue.

When I find a camper I would like to rent but I want to message and ask a question about it first, I then lose the actual posting to be able to view the photos again or policies and things. Makes it not friendly. Also, it all the sudden would not the banking info for the person renting it out to us and made everything complicated. This alp is not designed for quick same day rentals. It is slow, does not update your messages regularly. And is so complicated. Needs some fixes.

Most listings have lots of extra fees so the price in the app is dishonest or at the very least, misleading. Either way the coat shown is no where near what you will be actually charged. It isn't a matter of budget or being affordable, it is that the app allows deceptive pricing. If Outdoorsy sincerely wanted to people to be treated fairly they would offer filters for all the extra and hidden fees but they don't because they want that extra money.
