It is a good app as it offers a variety to choose from especially for common destinations. It is also friendly, you cab find locations with ease. However, the app does not have a section for suppliers. I tried to help out a client to get their refund but could not since it is for clients only even though they tell you it's for both suppliers and guests. Live chat is with a virtual assistant only. Refunds also take long even though Get Your Guide policies say it takes 5-10 business days.

Our river tour of Malaka was very frustrated by using the app. The app presented me with a voucher that held a bar-code. I thought that would be all that I needed. What I needed was a QR code. That required me to go into the email and the ticket. Access to my email wasn't available at the location. It was very frustrating. Don't send me a bar code if it won't be honored.

I was frustrated that the price went up significantly when I got to the check out page. And I had to 2 different apps (VoiceMap & Get Your Guide) AND create s with both and check my email in order to access the audio tour. The narrator was easy to understand and the navigation was pretty clear. I liked the automatic stop and start based on location. I would've enjoyed more variety, like sound effects or quotes read by different voice actors.

Terrible service. Explore other apps/ options. I booked a ticket 1.5 hours before the reservation. The booking went through, and my credit card was charged, but I never received the ticket, even after spending 30 minutes with customer . I ended up buying a last-minute ticket at the counter at a price. Very disappointing experience.

My wife and I have used other booking apps or booking websites and loved the convenience, especially when traveling abroad. The idea of such an app is to minimize waste by eliminating the need to print out a ticket. Unfortunately, our experience could not have been more unpleasant with this app. We booked through the app and had a barcode, but were still expected to print out the reservation confirmation at home, then bring it to a booth to redeem it for paper tickets. How is that eco-friendly?

Get Your Guide makes it very easy to plan and organize activities for your vacation. However I am having difficult time with their app. I have been getting so many "something went wrong" errors while using it. Additionally, notifications of cancelled activities ( by the organizer) should be more prominent and you have to fix/connect booking experience - so many activities where shown as available but after booking, it got cancelled by organizer as they actually werent availabiltiy

My experience was very bad. The booking went smooth, but I booked 2 events and I did need to cancel one of them. From the application I tried to cancel the booking and got a message saying something went wrong and then ed the who took very long time then said they can't refund and cancel. I wouldn't recommend this app or their system.

I've used this app for several trips now. Had some excellent tours, and a few marginal ones. But my biggest issue is from our recent trip to Spain. I had booked a number of tours in 3 cities. All were booked in March for the Oct trip. And even though my credit card was the same as when booked, their system decided I was a risk because of booking too many activities. It didn't decide this until it was time for activites. As a result, we missed two planned activities.
