HIGHWAY ROBBERY Boston. 10$ each for day., still get charged per min for an ebike. Have to park it in another station or continue to get charged and its usually a block from where i want to be. Or we can pay a few dollars more and uber. Utter ridiculous the cost and low availabilty of ebikes. Cuz, u know, i want to sweat using a conventional bike on my vacation. Your wording on the day and STILL having to pay for ebikes is vague. U sukt me in. Bravo u got my 18$. No more.

Android ; couldn't add an additional rider as app and help chat person suggested I could. The ride together feature was not available. And yes I have the most updated version.

Got misscharged as the app doesn't automatically renewed my subscription. The customer service got angry at me and hanged the phone instead of recognizing the app/service was buggy and was in an inconsistent state. The second customer service guy told me that in the email it says that i had to add a second payment method, which unfortunately i don't have. After unfrozing my card there was no way in the app to renew my subscription...So now I'm unable to use the app with subscription.

What a horrible service. Got a day and didn't read fine print. (for classic bikes only). Even there was no classic bike at that stand, it let you buy at kiosk a service for it....what a joke..... a 4 mile ride cost me 42 dollars, no refund at all.....

I bought the day , but it didn't work the way it was described to. I was charged 10$ for the day, but everytime I used the bike it charged me as if I hadn't purchased the day . It was the same situation for my friends. I will not be recommending this service.

I rent a silver electric bike on a trip to Boston and did not read the fine print. I bought a day on the app and proceeded to have a lovely ride along the Charles River and out to arboretum and then back along the Emerald Necklace. I did a total of about 34 miles but spread it out over 5 hours of sightseeing. Unfortunately when turning in the bike I found I did not have a ten dollar day but an $80 bill, for their definition of a day is TWO hours. Customer service was NO help-BEWARE!

I have been calling Bluebike customer service for over a month and have not gotten a single call back or response. I bought the Bluebike hip and after 2 weeks, I was not able to scan any bluebike. I just got the message "error, you cannot rent a bike at this time." I have tried reinstalling the app multiple times, changed my payment method and have called customer service multiple times. Although my case has been 'escalated' I have not gotten any response email or via a phonecall.

That app is fine, but the bike lanes in Boston are dangerous to ride on. The gas powered Door Dash scooters have taken over the protected green bike lanes. Delivery trucks and double parked cars block the unprotected bike lanes along major roads in Dorchester and Roslindale. I'm all for promoting more cycling, but Boston is a automobile first city culture and the city itself does little to enforce the bike lane rules. They paint lines and then they declare Mission Accomplished and move on.
