Good: free, SD card write, not overly complex configuration, reasonable footprint. Not so good: doesn't automatically backup new and updated apps, ads (and no one-time payment option to eliminate them), and updates are vaguely described. Uninstalled and until it automatically backs up new installations, won't reinstall.

Should just be called "All Backup" since it can't restore. It successfully backs up my messages, but after attempting to restore them, they do not show up in the messaging app. I've rebooted several times. When I attempted a restore again, it went through the process and then shows double the message count, but I still have no restored messages. I've even tried multiple sms apps. It's a pretty useless app without restore functionality

Prompts for a review when you haven't even used it. It's a great 👍🏼 app but it keeps saying that I denied read/write access to my SD card. The app settings from the app or my phone settings doesn't even have that feature for storage access. The app also keeps giving an error when I try to give access to any Google storage drive. You're forced to use your internal storage or manually transfer to SD card. You're forced to use this app to read/retrieve backups. Forced to pay $14.99 to view files.

Unusual among backup programs in letting you set the full path of each backup. It also lets you control each of four types individually: calls, texts, s, and calendar. I can think of some improvements but they do not detract from the 5 stars. It would be nice to turn off the notifications after the automatic backups (if you disable notifications, it stops the automatic scheduling). It would be nice to add MMS as a fifth category. But these are minor. It has the basics down cold.

Like most of these so-called backup programs this also fails to indicate where the directories are and what files are going to be backed up. Instead it's the usual checkbox for apps and checkbox for s etc., but if you have a file like perhaps a movie, photo, or word document you spent a bunch of time editing somewhere on your phone this would not be able to back it up. Junk. One star.

gives me great peace of mind to be able to back up this specific set of data. I don't need to complete a complete backup of my phone or my apps. backup goes smoothly and is easy to set up. haven't been able to test the restore, so I do not have any bases for commenting on that but this is easy and is exactly what I'm looking for and I recommend this app based on my experience.

Seems to work when backup is on internal storage. But when storage is set to micro sd card, s will not backup, always get error message "something went wrong try again", and a zero byte file. Very frustrating, app would be great if this was fixed. I would definitely purchase when this is corrected. Also if app would automatically backup newly installed apps that would be perfect.
