Because there are so many devices and so many different apps for texting, it requires constant attention, development, and improvements. in order to keep it moving, there is a symbolic fee for unlocking all the features.

I use Google msgs. under advanced settings of this app, I chose file type "text," yet my export is still in Excel format. If I wanted Excel format, I would have chosen Excel. Trial is a JOKE!! Fortunately I had a convo that had < 6 msgs to be able to try out this app. Otherwise I wouldn't even know. And I still get errors telling me media is not included yet I'm not taken anywhere when I click on options to fix those errors. very disappointed bc I wanted this to work. Happy to pay IF it works!

it's ok and gets the job done, but if you are looking to backup more than 6 messages, this will cost you. It also takes a long time to backup messages. I tried ing the developer urgently as i was under a deadline, and needed to hear back quickly, and did not hear back at all... frustrated with the lack of customer service and communication.

I found myself in need of printing multiple text message threads for court. App was friendly. I know that because I am not technologically savvy; and I figured it out. Multiple options for how to save (PDF, HTML, WORD...). I chose PDF. The only issue that I ran into, WHICH IS NOT THE APPS FAULT, was that the amount of messages that I turned into a PDF was too large to send via email. EASILY FIXED BY SAVING ONE MONTH OF TEXTS AT A TIME (5 STARS FOR THE ABILITY TO SELECT A DATE RANGE)

Absolutely terrible app. It's as if the developers forgot what this app is for. Paid 15 bucks to unlock its message saving capacity to unlimited. Saves backed up messages to the INTERNAL drive (???). Go into settings, and it lists the Default Saved location as an internal folder. YOU CANNOT CHANGE THIS. So when you go into the Internal drive and find the folder it uses for backup and COPY that folder to your SD CARD, in your new phone this app does NOT restore the messages! Worthless junk app.

It's a solid program for exporting SMS streams to a variety of formats, and so far it has been stable and works well. There are a couple of minor things the developer could improve (the font used for HTML exports is not the same as the font I selected...which is actually more annoying than I expected it would be) or add (such as enabling automatic backups at scheduled intervals), but overall I'm happy with the app.

Purchased it immediately. Wasn't sure if I should have or not. So glad I did. Backing up everything now. Looked at the first backup and was totally impressed. I want them off my phone (changing providers), but I want to keep them, and I want to be able to access them fairly easily. This app does it all very easily. I'm saving it to my phone, and I'll it onto Google Drive.

yet handles group conversations, which most SMS backup programs do not. also it backs up embedded media. I would give it five stars, except for the difficulty of transferring a backup to my PC. it only puts the back up on the phone. meaning if there's a problem with the phone, the backup is lost. transfer over USB cable of trips up on file and location name too long. there is no clear description of the error, but I have discovered that long name is the problem.

This app continues to crash. It worked fine up until a few days ago. I have ed their team twice with NO response. I have the paid version. I'm running on a Pixel 6 Pro. Fully updated. Feeling very, very, frustrated. UPDATE!! Here is what I did to resolve this: Uninstall Reset phone Install WITHIN the app, go to notifications and set to ALLOW App working as described ... EXCEPTION is that it does not recognize that I have the paid version.
