Suddenly starts for no reason. Doesn't start when you want to. Chapters are 25 minutes long and you can't rewind across a chapter if you missed the last 20 seconds you have to go all the way back. Minimal controls sit over the closed phone. The worst of the library apps by far.

If I could give 0 stars I would. It used to be great. Now it just won't work. Despite re installing more than 3 x. Very frustrating. It's absolutely no use.

Appalling. Really poor app; temperamental and inconsistent. Sometimes works ok sometimes not at all; sometimes books will sometimes not. Occasionally shuts down spontaneously during use. Not a great choice of audiobooks; sometimes has books unavailable on other players. Vastly inferior to Libby and Borrowbox in of functionality. Having read a number of the other reviews (1.9 stars seems flattering)n this app seems to have been poor for years and not improving at all.

Have they done something to the app it is now shocking a book plays for 30 seconds and then crashes it used to be OK not as good as libby but adequate I would give it 0 stars now but that's not an option Update. After reinstalling it has worked fine for a while but now crashes again every few seconds. Can you please fix it. It would be no stars but I can't go that low

Very buggy app. works badly even in a brand new, top of the range mobile phone. In my previous phone, unfortunately it crashed my phone every time I open an audio book; The screen flashes on and off until the phone rebooted. Difficult to see where you are on the book. You cannot use Bluetooth buds to control back and forth or volume. Sound is also very erratic! Decides to lower the volume on its own accord. Not worth the effort. Reported to the local library.

Despite the various tweaks, audiobooks are still staying on my device when they have been returned. I have to delete either the App or data to create space. This doesn't happen with the Libby Overdrive App! Another issue is the 'freezing' of the audio at intermittent intervals. On a positive note, the selection of audiobooks is great, and listening can become addictive.

Unreliable! Very good audio books available let down by a poor app. On three occasions I have had to delete and reinstall the app. It is unreliable. Periodically it just stops working and only after MANY repeated attempts will it open and play the book. On other times when the phone has been lying untouched for an hour, suddenly the audio book will start playing without any touching of the phone. This is the only app that screws up my Samsung operating system forcing me to reset or turn off.

I am completely changing my review. The problems I had earlier were solved to some extent by deleting and reinstalling. The app still burns up a lot of battery power and still requires an internet link even when playing a ed title. However, that is more than offset by the wide range of audiobooks available. To replace my earlier critical comments I would like to thank and congratulate Ulverscroft and Lincolnshire Libraries for providing the service.
