Dont waste your time on this app. This app never allows me to sign in. It allows me to input my info and enable biometrics, then gets stuck "loading" me in. Screen never changes, just see a spinning circle. Even when I exit out to again, it gives me "error" messages. I've deleted the app, re-ed it, keep my phone updated, reset my phone and nothing works. I even waited for the app to finally have an update and it still has not fixed the sign in issues. I just use the website now.

I'm stuck in a loop where it tells me to sign in, I sign in, and then it takes me right back to the sign in page. It wouldn't take my biometrics nor my . Deleted cache, force stopped, uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Not the first time I've had issues with this app and I'm finally just uninstalling it completely - no point in having it take up space on my phone if it won't even work.

The app is a little buggy but it works. The Cafe portion of the app, however, appears to have been removed within the last few weeks. I'm not sure if they are going to bring back the Cafe portion so that mobile cafe orders can be placed, but I hope they do. Update: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app and the cafe portion is back. Update 2: the cafe app disappeared again a while back and still has not been fixed.

I love B&N but this app is almost impossible to use. It's easy to navigate but perpetually slow and always feezes. Ive been trying to make a purchase with a giftcard for 3 days on app. All day today it just keeps telling me "Somethings wrong. Try again later." Frustrated, Ive restarted my phone, Forced the app to stop and restart nothing helps. Other book stores apps are working fine.

The app is slow on the best days and buggy on the worst. The wait time for a page to load is frankly unexcusable, taking as long as a minute to load a single image and some text. The app crashes and does not allow me to log back in, requiring a reinstall. My wishlist does not update correctly, omitting items added in the last several months. It is as if the app/site developers are facing problems no other company could solve by 2024, and yet no other app so consistently experiences these issues.

Painfully slow. This app needs a lot of work. I love the store, but this app makes searching for, saving, or buying books so agonizing to do. I can't always just go to the physical location, so I appreciate that there's an app. However, it's almost unusable. Pages freeze or just take forever to load. And if I click on a title during a search, whether to add to wishlist or read the "about", when I click back to the search it refreshes. I have to rescroll or re-input the filters ONTOP of slowness.

This app has one of the worst search and browse interfaces that I have seen in all of e-commerce. Search is fuzzy by default, with no way to remove undesired results. Results are cluttered with items that are unavailable in-store, online, or both with no apparent way to remove them. Filtering, sorting, and viewing options are all very limited. I have yet to find a way to determine what loyalty rewards a potential purchase might earn, and it even harder to translate that to actual cash value.

Love Barnes and Noble the actual store, hate the app. Takes too long to load anything, you have to hit the "enter" button on searches multiple times and even then you're lucky if it actually gives you results, and the "check local stores" drives me insane as it also takes way too long to load. At this point, I'll just stick to either going to my local store after calling to check inventory or Amazon.
