Actually terrible and doesn't work 😕 I really wish it did. [Edit: it is not an issue with the device because I tried with multiple TV's and it doesn't adjust volume at all or gets stuck on something and I have to manually turn off my TV to fix it. Literally the app is just garbage I'm not gonna keep trying I worked with it for a few hours split between 3 days and never had it actually work as intended]

This app would get 0 stars from me if possible. I understand the want to let us know there is a subscription option. Quite honestly I would have gladly paid the 25 bucks a year. But just trying it out for 10 minutes infuriated me. Why? Because just a simple task of turning the volume up took me 10 minutes. Yes 10 minutes. Why? Because of all the ad pop-ups. The volume was at 5 and I wanted it around 30. Every few clicks of the volume button came a stampede of ads one after the other.

Can't really see the point. Most logical reason to need this app if you lose your original remote, but every time you use the app on your phone/tablet, you have to authorise it with your original remote! (D'oh!) If you have the original remote, why would you need the app? Plus there's an annual fee to use it and remove the annoying ads - an add pops up just as you want to quickly change the volume or chanel and you have to wait for the ad to finish before the app can be used.

Technically works, but a massive pain to use. There's ads every few seconds trying to trick you into clicking them when you're not looking (and even if you are, it still takes you out of what you were doing to dismiss it). The paid functions aren't labeled and open another full screen ad if you have the misfortune to date think of using them

I needed the TV remote just to be able to enable the app which defeats the purpose of needing the app. Though I still tried to use the app but none of the functions worked at all. Then there's a ton of ads when I try to do anything. This app is garbage, so I will be deleting it. Update: 8/24/23 Since this was missed the first time I said it in December 22. You still need TV remote to allow the app to be used, but the purpose for the app is because the TV remote is lost. DEFEATS THE PURPOSE!

This app is where it's at - 100%! When me & my fiance lost our TV remote, we quickly were over getting up an endless number of times whenever we needed to change a channel/streaming app/volume/etc.. So, I checked some apps out. They either straight up sucked or just didn't work, but then I ed this one, we both did. We each tried the free version. He didnt like the ads & I prefer to pay a lil extra for some good QUALITY to get some convenience! Very happy & very impressed!

If you don't pay for the subscription, a pop-up shows every 5 seconds or so that you that you aren't able to hide for another few seconds making the the app unusable. I understand the ads on the bottom used to generate profit for the Creator but these annoying popups have NOTHING to do with generating income from selling additional advertising space.

I've ed this app and also paid for it because I've lost my remote control. However in order to use this app you need to connect your tv via app, but in my case it will not allow me to because my tv is OFF. App doesn't really solve my problem.
