Say It Backwards app is a sound recorder app with one goal - record a sound and play it back in reverse. Thats it. Such simple tool gives you enormous possibilities. I personally play with my kids and entertain my friends. Check how "NOW" becomes "ONE", and if you practice a little you can learn to say short sentences backwards. Listening to known songs, jingles or other sounds can be surprising.

Give it a try with English words: "easy", "Funny enough", "Amor Roma", "say yes" - those are all phonetic palindromes.

While making this app I have realized there is a whole conspiration theory about backmasking - give it a search on Youtube or Wikipedia - you will be suprised. My favourite one is "Oh no, you're playing the record backwards. Watch out, you might ruin your needle" ... at least using Say It Backwards app you will not ruin your needle :)

I just bought this app thinking that something else would unlock or a new button would appear... something.? But no. What did my 99¢ get me? It works just like it should but there are no options to save other than to send it to yourself in a message or email. Is that something that might become an upgrade soon? To just save it as a file? I'll play with it for a while and rate it again, but for now it's a 3. Oh yeah... A speed button or slide would be amazing!! Please think about it

I love it. Especially I say it in reverse and play it than. You die of 8 laughterer. This is one of those app you love to have. I would love to have another button to play the original recording. So you can here, in my case, what I said backwards and than you must guess. Or just reverse, you hear the backwards and use the second play button to hear the original. This is like karaoke. Must be present on any party.. Fun 100% And to proof it I just bought this app. My first buy in 5 years. I love this Works again after un installing and installing again. Thx for the quick fix and . Another idea is to add several "Slots" where you can record sounds. So for a quiz it would be great so you can choose which slot to hear.

It's pretty good for having fun and it looks like there is only a small banner ad in a place that is far from anywhere that'll be clicked accidentally. You can record up to 3 minutes, which is usually plenty and you can share with others in the form of a .wav file. It isn't great for learning to speak backwards, but would be if you could slow down the recording or save aside from having to share.

Great for learning to talk backwards... especially if your a musician ! just say something regularly, then play it backwards, then add a track just repeat what you hear! thanks guys, you did what they do in the studio! all in a great app on a phone or tablet! great for trying out musical ideas when you cant get to the studio!!

The app is good and i ed it giving it about an hours try. The problems, you can't save your recordings to be used as a notification sound or ring tone. 2nd, to many ments. The advertising stops the recording. I deleted this one and found one that better but this one is still good 👍.

Was great, but now met with cookie options that take an eternity to say 'no' to, then it doesn't save your preferences. One click agree, deliberately difficult to say 'don't agree' with multiple radio buttons to toggle. Google issue apparently. App is great!

Don't listen to the other reviews. This app is completely safe and does properly reverse sound. Some people just don't understand what reversing sound means when they expect "racecar" to sound the same forwards as backwards, just because the spelling is the same. Very simple but great app!

It's great! I gave it 4 and not 5 because it has a slight lag, from the moment you press record you need to give it a fraction of a second before you start speaking or else the first part won't come out, you also need to leave a fraction of a second of silence at the end for the same reason. You get used to it though, and other than that it's everything it should be. It could be my phone's fault, but it's not like I have the absolute worst one out there.
