Great overall VPN which connects lightening fast! So why 4 stars? ½ star for each of the followings: 1. It automatically starts after boot and doesn't have the setting to disable it (unlike the Windows version). 2. Doesn't have a notification toggle for fast switching it on/off. I think this should become a standard feature among Android VPN apps.

I live in IRAN where there's a strict wide range web filtering and every day it's turning to be more difficult to find a good VPN to use internet freely. Lantern has been a really good app to go around the filters and no reduce in internet speed but every now and then it connects to IRAN's servers which is no use at all and there's no way to change the server. After a few days it might change and be usable again but meanwhile we have to look for other VPNs.

This was the first and the last time I use this VPN because of the following reasons: whenever you click on the connect button on the middle of your screen it connects in just a second but in fact it doesn't connect you to any server and at the top of the screen it says connection error. It was very dissapointing for the first and last time use.👎🏼👎🏼

Stopped opening yesterday suddenly. Just immediately crashes now. Rebooting the phone and reing and updating the app doesn't help. Been working absolutely amazingly for over two years now, easily the best VPN app otherwise. I hope it's a bug that can be fixed soon.

I'm very disappointed. The Pro version doesn't cost it. Well, Lantern was one one the most stable apps when I started using it. That's why I decided to pay for Pro, and that was one of the most meaningless things I've ever done. The connection error appears everyday. I'm lucky that it disappears for some time. Another this is there's only automatic reply. The never responded. Moreover I'm not able to cancel the subscription once I paid.

I cannot select the area that i wish to connect to, but that's not my biggest problem. This app simply doesn't connect at all most of the time. Not only that, but the latest update which was in september crashes upon opening. After finally finding an older version and reinstalling could i use the patchy service. Asked the help service and after a month, still haven't received a reply. Don't be fooled by their yingbi offer, they don't provide it even if you click on the right links.

Unfortunately it become one of the worst VPN, it's not steady and hanging all time. It was one the best, but now I'm so disappointed of performance.
