If you've spent your money on IoT devices you know that IoT automation can be slow and unreliable with restricted rule sets and manufacturer lock-in.Do you want your *home* automation to stay in your home? Should it really be run over the internet in someone else's cloud? You may feel uncomfortable ing an overseas owned internet/cloud service to monitor and control your home lights and appliances. I want my lights to turn on even when my internet connection is down!
With AutomationManager you manage your own *local* automation server to break free of those other systems. Reprogram your overseas managed cloud IoT devices for safe local access.
This is NOT the official product apps. You will still need the official app at least once to connect your devices to your WiFi (they use a locked/proprietary methods to set your router into the device).
Refund policy: your app purchase will be refunded if you are not satisfied with the app or you return your devices. Check the developer site (below) for the refund procedure (it's painless).
Why not free? Unlike most IoT apps, AutomationManager is NOT collecting your personal information and habits in the cloud. There is no intention to direct advertising to you in the future. This pays for and development, and is NOT funded by selling private information to 3rd parties.

Convert an old or inexpensive low end android phone, pc, mac, rPi, etc into a dedicated INTRAnetOfThings (IoT) hub to protect your privacy and give you secure, FAST, and reliable home automation.
A comprehensive home automation rule set (see the dev page for the full list):
- Turn lights on/off/flash when a security zone is opened/entered/closed or an alarm occurs
- Motion triggers for alarms, garage door openers, cameras, etc
- Link sockets/lights for multiple scenes

AutomationManager (AM) saved me from throwing away ~ US$500 worth of WeMo devices. Using the native WeMo control - which requires cloud access - is EXTREMELY unreliable. It's so faulty that I was ready to trash everything due to the frustration of having system failures on a daily basis. AM fixes all that by allowing the to control his/her WeMo devices from a LOCAL server (in our case, our "server" is an old Android phone that I still had after upgrading phones). By not relying on a cloud-based service, AM has converted our WeMo switches and outlets into a DEPENDABLE network of "smart" devices for our home. Plus, not only is AM rock-steady, it is quite flexible, so that I do things with my WeMo devices that Belkin's WeMo app simply cannot do. Mike provides excellent for his app, and is easy to and interact with (providing -another- stark difference between AM and the Belkin/WeMo app). If you're wanting to use WeMo hardware, then you should get AutomationManager - it's really that simple. Like I said, I would not be using WeMo devices in our home anymore if I did not have AutomationManager to control them.

Really love this app as it integrates wemo with the older dsc using envisalink. That way you can use the dsc door sensors to turn on wemo lights etc. The wemo part is very transparent to use and the number of options in the tasks is quite incredible - more than any other app of its kind. It also will work with non-wemo devices but rather more work is needed than many of us would want to do. MikeP is great with help by email etc. I love his style and wish him every success

This app is very good. I was looking for a way to log when my basement de-humidifier ran its compressor. I already had a Kasa smart switch that reported how much power it was ing and connected the de-humidifier to it , and i was able to create a rule that only logged the smart switch power level to the AutomationManager log file on my Google Drive when the de- humidifier was running . Thanks for the great app!

Excellent app to free yourself from the terrible and apparently abandoned belkin wemo app. I run automation manager headless on a small server and AM Remote on my phone to manually control lights and set up automation rules. Would give 5 stars if the app had a dark mode.

Fantastic app! Been using it for sometime, mainly to control my devices locally. It's nice in that it controls virtually EVERY light switch in my home, the only thing it isn't controlling right now are three LED WIFI bulbs (Geeni) but that's very very minor. I have yet to set-up the automation features on this, but will be doing so soon. Once this is set-up and running I will update my review. Not sure if there is any online community even via FB to talk to other owners of this app and how they've setup their automation, but I do see comments from time-to-time on the WEMO forums.

This is how the belkin app should be? I can't believe a third party app blows the official one out of the water. I can actually use one of my old android phones as a server which is much more responsive. I just want to add that the developer is consistently updating this app and adding features. This software is worth more than it costs.

I can't say enough good things about this app. There are numerous options to make this app work, I personally use the Java server and the Remote app to access away from home, but I also use an android phone to run a "backup" server in case the computer running the java server every goes down. The App manages all my Hue and Wemo devices, I almost never use the vendor apps anymore. All my rules are setup on the local java and/or android server so even if my internet goes out the rules still run so long as my wi-fi is up. It's great to basically have a single pane of glass for all my devices (regardless of vendor), and the app allows me to set a single rule that affects both Hue and Wemo devices. On top of the great app, is second to none. The last few years I've ended up getting devices that maybe haven't had out of the box and after emailing has typically been added within a few days. If you have smart devices that are ed by this app in your house picking this app up is a must.

I needed this app for an art installation. The developer helped me out and immediately tweaked the app to ensure i wouldn't have any problems. It's always awesome to have quick, responsive help, and this developer scores high in that area, and for the software he developed. Thank you so much!
