- Metadata compilation
- Sharing calibration and measurements with the OpeNoise community

TERM OF USE
This app is not intended for professional use, it does not necessarily guarantee an accurate noise measurement.
Since each device has a different response to noise, a comparison with a professional noise level meter in the measurement dynamic range is required.
The utilization of the app requires adequate technical knowledge and skill; an extemporary measurement might not be correct.
The calibrations and measurements sent to the OpeNoise community will be used for statistical purposes only and cannot be used in any way to compliance with legal limits.

If "Save Lzeq 1/3 octaves levels" and "Save Lzmin 1/3 octaves levels" are checked before the start of the test. The recorded data will be very long. When you open the recorded txt file in the app, when a row of data is too long, I think it is best not to enable automatic word wrapping on the narrow screen of the mobile phone.

This app is brilliant, the best by far! It is the only one I have found that can display dB(A) and not just dB(Z). The wide choice of display options is greatly appreciated. I see a lot of people leaving negative reviews on here complaining about the need for calibration, ALL APPS NEED CALIBRATION if they claim otherwise, they are lying! My only wish is to be able to create custom LAeq times as seeing 3, 5, or 15min averages is very valuable! If you need a sound level app, this is it. 5 starts!

It works as d. This is an all-around good app, and there's not much more to say. Negative sides: You most likely need to calibrate it to the ambient sound level. Positive sides: It's surprisingly versatile, it can be calibrated, and it does indeed graph sound volumes.

Looks like someone took a very promising adaptation to sound measuring utilities. Simple clean looking with the correct controls. Mentions the need to compare with a professional device for calibration. If I had that why would I need this? So far I've not seen 2 apps that can give the same results, until then, no results are believable. 5 stars for common sense and good advice. Good for learning about sound inked a simple, no BS, working package! 🔊🎶💹☑️🆒🎙️🎯🏅👍👏👂 TY I'll test and return.

Did almost exactly what I needed it to with a clean usable interface. Only complaint is that I can't figure out how to save recorded data. Probably something simple I am missing. Thanks for the great open source app! edit: thanks for the response!

I found this app pretty easy and intuitive in its usage. The only reason I did not rate this with five stars is that I wish it could continue to data even if the app is running in the background or the device has timed out.

Easy to use. Only doing relative measurements so don't care so much about accuracy but it's at least close. There's a way to calibrate. Direct readout and an updating graph. Would again.

In order to calibrate the app you need a professional sound meter. While I love that this app doesn't sell to third parties, this made the app useless for me. I got this app to be able to measure the white noise during my baby's nap times to avoid hearing damage. This just isn't the app I needed for my intended purpose.
