My favourite weather app. It's essential to me as a carpenter, I'm often outside and being able to see the radar screen in such detail enables me to make last minute decisions as to if I should put my tools away or not. As per usual, more than 24 hours in advance is not very accurate, but the radar screen is what makes this app 5 stars. I'm not interested in news or the other aspects of the app, but they are easily ignored and so don't reduce my rating by 1 star 🌟

Phone experience is adequate, but the Android auto experience is so limited due to the fact that the radar does not have any way to animate while in Android auto mode. I'm not sure if there is a restriction on this because someone would be afraid of it being too distracting, but if you have no way of seeing which Way a storm is going, don't bother with putting up a radar on a screen. I tried to about this, no response. the website has an FAQ on it, but it doesn't address this.

Wonderful app, the one I wouldn't be without. Edit. Since changing to Android 14 I find the widgets are unreliable and are often blank Now forced to reduce to 1 star and for the team response to my issues. Very disappointed after many years of great service.

Update: Removing 1 star because I can't turn off alerts for the rest of the us. I want to receive alerts but only for my area. I get it, sone people want to see more, especially when travelling, but I wish there would be the option to turn that in or off. Love the design! All necessary information in a very compact way. Very accurate, great widget and just the right amount of features without uneccesary frou-frou.

Great app at a remarkable price time and time again. It's given me the information needed to avoid prolonged and heavy rain while out hiking.

Functionally it's decent, but the design is definitely getting quite old now and it lacks some basic features such as dark mode. If they could give this app a proper facelift it would be perfect, but a lot of the elements do feel like they're from the early 2010s still.

In the new version favorites are gone, only history is left. The search icon disappears when i scroll down i.e. exactly when i need it (to go to next location), instead useless share icon appears. App became slower. I feel like i am getting less/worse service for the same money.

We're spoilt for choice in of weather apps in the UK. This one is just great for accuracy, clarity, and one glance comprehension. I find the forecasts for over one week hence spookily close to the outcome. Tried other apps but I keep coming back to this one as my favourite.
