Less buggy than RadarOmega BUT, it still gets stuck loading radar loops especially in satellite. The "real-time mesoscale analysis" is a joke, it's always 45 minutes behind which is useless. Soundings are pointless. The watch app is terrible and coming from apple, it's obviously biased, especially the main app... For android the tools are on a side bar, the inspector tool is always buried and doesn't save the last used tool for quick use. Terrible on Android. Makes regret paying for pro tier 2.

This is a good app to have on your phone, tablet, or laptop computer. I recommend having it always. However it is charging me $14.99 a month for some reasoned?? the app shows it is only $9.99 but somewhere it is getting an extra $5 dollars a month. So watch out for what they charge you. I have had this app for about 2 years, In the beginning you pay for the app and it was just a 1 time payment now they want to charge you for everything.

It's a decent app. But with an upgrade a year or two ago, RadarScope locked previously "free" features behind a subscription paywall. That would be understandable if I hadn't already paid several years ago to the app in the first place. Now I'm being asked to fork over subscription dollars to get back the features that were originally included when I paid for this several years ago. Hence the two-star rating. You can do better, RadarScope.

Great app. Not worth the $10 just to get into the door, though. I would expect something as important as lighting would be included in the $10 initial purchase, but that courtesy is another $10 for the year. Lost me on that, so I requested a refund. Lightning should be included in the $10 . Other than that, great looking radar and very accurate and detailed.

So far, really great. The radar has picked up single rain clouds which is pretty impressive. Zooming in to street level is nice. I've only had a couple instances in the recent past where the radar hadn't updated in like an hour. But it's pretty consistent, and having up-to-the-minute radar is super helpful if you're walking, biking, or unsheltered in any way.

Would be my go to radar app it it had the ability to view more data than just one radar. Living on the West side of Michigan, just a few miles from the lake, being able to see what is going on in Chicago, where most of the storms come from, is very important. This ability to zoom out and see more is available in every other radar app. The app for my watch is a joke. Always shows the radar multiple states away from me, then crashes.

This app was recommended. I decided to try it. I thought the basic app was free, but I was asked to pay $9.99, which I thought would give me the pro tier one version, so I agreed. Then, I received a message to subscribe, but that ended up requiring another $9.99 payment. When I went to see my subscriptions in PayPal, it only showed one pro one subscription. That is very confusing, and it looks like it had me pay twice for one app. I checked my bank and found two charges of $10.81 from Google.

First, I have used this app for YEARS & I have only ever had the top paid-for version so I can't speak for any of the lower tier or free versions. For what it is (a professional, 'storm-spotter quality' radar app) this is hands down THE BEST app to have. My only complaint is: after a recent update, my saved locations no longer display on the radar map! Please fix this!! For the annual cost of the app... maintaining features during & after updates should be the top priority of the developers.
