Just excellent. Works really well for me to remind me later of any notes I make using speech-to-text while driving, with it's visual 'App Icon Badges' on my home screen. I prefer the subtle reminder, which I won't miss on my home screen later, rather than an audible alarm at a specific time that will probably interrupt me.

My short term memory has severely worsened. If I don't record or type something right away, it's gone. I had the idea to look for an app to convert my voice to text because I didn't just want recordings of my voice on my phone. I visually need to see the notes. I ed a few apps like this one, and uninstalled the rest. This app does everything I need it to and even allows me to customize the notes. I also like that I can organize my notes under specific lists. The widgets are so helpful!

Efficient app. Would be nice to have the ability to record subtasks within a major objective or task. It would also be nice to prioritize and sort tasks by having a customized function that would allow the to press-hold a task and move it within the list to group by other like associations. Another suggestion, would be to have the ability to configure in seconds an allowable time to pause between sentences within the same task.

I wanted a really simple way to just keep a list of all the DVD movies in my collection. After looking at what apps were available, I decided to try this to create my own simple list. It is really easy to use and I am so happy with the result! Love the ability to just read the titles and correct the entry, if I need to, and confirm. (Plus, it even gives me the ability to alphabetize the entries. What more could I want!) Thank You!

Overall, it's certainly worth giving it a shot! That said, it's a tad...clunky? That said, the app does pretty much everything I want it to. once you learn how it works, the clunkiness can be overlooked, I think. I say it's clunky, but I do also appreciate its simplicity. I guess the balance isn't quite achieved. I've had real-world use from it, though, and since it's free, that gives it a ing grade, easy.

The dictation accuracy looks good, but the app is so erratic, and I can't find any way to edit the text that is created. It centers the output text even when you deselect centering. It separates every phrase that you say into a separate note. It won't really allow continuous dictation even though the paid version offers that option.

I tried about 10 voice note-taking apps; none until this one had the simple, quick and uncluttered operation that I was looking for. One click the widget (the auto start widget, not the home icon) and speak a list item, when I stop talking it beeps the item as entered. Click to close, or enter another item.. press and hold an entry to bring up a small option menu that overlays but doesn't block view of the page, which is an uncluttered blank notepad. Simple and fast. Thanks, Michael. .

Seems to only make bulleted lists. Every time you take a breath, it creates a brand new entry. Unusable for letters, paragraphs, dream journals or - perish the thought - short stories or novels. Undoubtedly useful for some, what I need is for Google to make its speech to text engine less of a cruel joke at the expense of writers, so I can use it across all the apps I use and am familiar with.
