I have used this app since I started using a smartphone (so over 10 years)and it was a great app but in the last 6 months or so something changed. I no longer receive severe weather alerts and all the current alerts are not listed when I open the app. All my settings are set like they always have been but I receive no alerts. So I am switching to a new app. Sorry, may try in the future.

I will change the rating once fixed. The daily forecast says it cannot retrieve the weather info for the current location (or selected location). I attempted to report the issue but the option to report a problem cannot connect. Fix this and I will rate the app accordingly, 4 stars. update August 2019: 1 star deduction is for obtrusive full screen ads.

This was a great app and all of a sudden, my alert sounds for warnings completely stopped working. The in app siren sound is what I use. Dead. Does not go off. We had rounds of bad storms come in over night, 1030 to 1130 pm. Not a single sound or notifications. Then I get a sound, rain is approaching for your area completely after the storms have ed 1 hour later. Only way I knew we had multiple thunderstorm and tornado warnings was from my Alexa screaming at me . This needs to be fixed ASAP!

Its a great app, but the ads are getting annoying. Im fine with the pop-up one when the app first loads, but the 30 second ad that likes to play at the beginning of the video (starting last month) is annoying especially on a 5 second video. I normally can back out and click on the video again to get the shorter ad, but they are getting stubborn about playing that long ad. The hourly by hourly video goes by way to quick for me to see whats happening and when. Thinking about switching apps.

Update 11/3/2021 The app is still good, but please limit the notifications. We're expecting freezing temps, and I literally can't dismiss the notification. As soon as I do, another pops up. Please limit these. I like and and need this app, but lately there's this huge ad that pops up when you open the app and it's very intrusive. I do not mind ads, but gigantic pop ups are and should be a thing of the past. If it's going to be a regular occurrence, then I will uninstall and use another app.

I feel like it could be a great app, and I have actually tried installing it four different times. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to use any of the navigation. I can't scroll or select anything, even after restarting my phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app on multiple occasions. Disappointing.

It was great at first, but now it wont let me check the weather. I've tried updating everything, uninstalling it then re installing it. And still nothing. I've even gone to resetting my phone. I love this weather app but for some reason, on my phone, it wont tell me nothing. I have to have someone else check the weather or physically go online to check it. Please fix it.

I have to uninstall this app due to notifications not clearing properly. I get multiple notifications and clear them all at one time but then each one comes back individually that I have to swipe to clear again. I may install this app again if this issue is corrected but in the meantime it is very annoying. I do highly value WKRN weather on TV and watch it over others networks in general so I hope this issue is corrected.
