Difficult to map many different tracks. It's not intuitive and the gui is not well done. The experience is very lacking. The app preforms well when you do get it to record. However saving that one. And starting a new recording is a bad experience. Should be much easier and flow easier. In its current state I would not recommend. Shame really. Seems like a good app.

Offline-maps disappear and take forever to re- whatever network connection you have. Need to stay on the map screen for it not to cancel, so prepare for a couple of hours locked within this screen if planning to use for navigation. Map packs are often grouped into entire countries, in case you are doing a 1500 mile stroll across the nation. Unfeasable for areas with poor or no cellular coverage. The functionality of the app itself, had it worked as intended, is highly desired.

I'm using this app as a moving map for flying a complex pipeline system. It's outstanding. At 120 knots, position update is one second or less behind actual position. I had one issue concerning the earth kmls that were being loaded, customer responded in less than an hour and a resolve fixed the issue in less than 24 hours! That is outstanding !

Works great! after getting lost in the middle of nowhere when Google maps decided to clear out the KML I was following. ed the offline maps for my state and opened the KML. Simple and effective, just make sure you get it set up before you leave obviously. I'd like to see POI or waypoints be able to be added as a target, but it sounds like that is in the works.

This is my goto app for hiking. Love that I can create waypoints of interest in Google MyMaps, then overlay them on a trail by loading both files into GPX Viewer. I like the distance icons, but wish I could adjust size (they are a little to small for me to see in dim light conditions). Most of the trails have no cell service, and the offline maps are better than Google's online versions when hiking

We've been using this app continually in our wildland-travel business for a few years now -- on our Android phones and tablet -- in the Western USA. It impressed us when we first tried it, and it continues to impress us more each time we use it. Our use is primarily in an SUV, for recording and following gpx tracks and waypoints along remote backcountry roads. We recently used it to navigate in a remote region of the state of Nevada, and it worked perfectly as always. It is now our go-to gpx app when traveling, and we continue to recommend it to our clients, with positive .

The functionality of the map is okay but the base maps available for offline are TERRIBLE. There are better apps that show better topo base maps. Also this app didn't allow satellite for offline maps. They have Google satellite view integration but only for online mode. What they need is the ability to a map by explicitly drawing a box on the map. The UI I find tailored for online mode but confusing as to whether maps will work offline.

Polished software which does all that it says it will. Well written help/ manual too! (Lack of one is a red flag for me). But do check out for costs (esp for maps) and take a personal call on it. Which is why I rate it's free version 5 star and this 4 star.
