I like the routing algorithm but a lot of map of errors for NYC. They duplicate avenue and duplicate streets. This app will have you making turns when you can't make turns. Also I tried suggested edit to fix the problems and the problems still remain. Also the street information is different from paid version of tomtom. You would think the same street data would be in the same since the app is made from the same company. I highly don't recommend because of all the mapping errors in NYC

Increasingly sending me to the wrong place. I put in Carl's Jr and it sent me to Sonic. This kind of thing has happened several times. When I'm delivering, sometimes it will get me close to where I'm going, but down the street, or around the corner, or even sends me down sketchy allys.... This app needs A LOT of bug fixing / improvements to its maps. I can not recommend this to anyone who NEEDS accuracy in their GPS app.

The biggest issue I've found is incorrect speed limits. I've seen 55mph stated speeds in 25mph zones, and quite often 35mph in 45mph zones. This triggers the speed limit alarm quite frequently. Otherwise the interface and simplicity is great. Seems to do well navigating around and out of town.

Love the fact that it shows both the speed limit and your current speed. But I hate that with Android Auto enabled, you can't use the phone app to get a new address to navigate to - the app on the phone is completely disabled. You can be parked with the engine off, but connected to android auto, and that means you can't do anything in the app on your phone. Other apps don't behave like this, so it's a deliberate choice, and it breaks a lot of potential functionality.

TomTom said this is the replacement for the Go Ride motorcycling app that they're phasing out next month, but AmiGo doesn't allow for multi-point routing. Huh?? This is a pretty essential feature for planning a route in advance, so the app is not helpful for my purposes, or those of a lot of riders. I will be using Go Ride for another month I guess and crossing my fingers that the devs are planning to get this feature out in the meantime, since I really liked Go Ride.

The first address that I put in to go find it says that option is not available. When I used Waze it found it with no problem at all. Need help TomTom. My travel route was - Ribboncrest Ter, Ashburn, VA To Grand St, Gaithersburg, MD 7/3/24 I uninstalled and reloaded the app and the route guidance worked, but... in working with it I found things buggy or recommendations that may help. Do you have a forum for that kind of stuff?

Hi Jas, thanks for replying! 1) With route preference set to Eco, there is no "Eco" designation with leaf icon next to any route in the Android Auto app (there is in the phone app). 3) Yes, since the beginning: start navigation on my phone before getting in the car, then plug in for Android Auto, and AmiGO's route guidance doesn't persist. 4) With Android Auto, Subaru "mirrors" Google Maps' next turn info onto the driver's display. No decimals ("0 mi" instead of "0.1 mi") with AmiGO.

I love the clean look with no extra junk on the screen but some things make it unusable for me. I can't prevent the app from ing my navigation destinations. I can delete them but I want the app to not them at all. Why can't I see speed limits without the speedometer? (my car has one and I don't need to see my speed on the app). The orange and red coloration when I exceed the speed limit is annoying too. Finally I can't keep the map north up without it always zooming out.
