I absolutely love this game, and I've been playing it for years now. It's remained consistently high quality, and I still play it often. However, as of recently, when playing a POC adventure and being booted from either internet issues or idling, the game no longer opens. It will remain on the screen indefinitely, and it seems the only way this resolves is if an update is required. This has happened to me twice now, making the game unplayable. Once this is fixed, I'll update to 5 stars.

Been playing since alpha and I love the game. HOWEVER, in recent years there have been more more app issues. The most recent is particularly problematic. The app is unplayable now and has been for about 5 or 6 days. I click on the game it pops up but before I even get to the logo screen it forces me out. I've cleared cache, data, uninstalled and reinstalled, all multiple times and it doesn't work. My primary issues is the trend seems to be that this type of issue is more common than it before

The game itself is fun, especially since there are so many ways to play now. You can build your own decks and play against others or the computer or you can play Path of Champions with pre-built decks and take on challenging decks with boons based on the Hero you choose. The only big negative is how dependent the seasonal rewards is now. When it first started, the paid prizes were roughly 50/50, whereas now you get one free prize for every 2-5 paid.

I had this as a 5 Star review for years. It used to be insanely easy to unlock cards, especially via the event es, which were actually a fair deal for the money. Sadly, with the event es and major expansions done for, the devs have added in systems that send a clear message: be prepared to grind Path of Champions for hours on end every day, or open up your wallet to progress. It's still a good source of Runeterra lore, but for all other purposes it's basically dead.

It is a really excellent game in of game play and progression design. Sadly, it doesn't seem to be getting the love it deserves. It has pivoted from pvp to it's roguelike mode, which may make it more profitable, but seems like a short term solution to me. As well as introducing more dark pattern design that it had avoided before.

I've been playing this game for a long time and I've been enjoying it a lot, but all of a sudden it won't properly open, and nothing I do seems to fix that. Even uninstalling and reinstalling will just result in the same issue after the first , and I dont want to have to install 3 GBs of data every time I want to open the game. I really hope you can find a fix to whatever this issue is cuz I really do enjoy this game, but right now this just isn't playable

They repo'd the champions everyone bought with money without recompense out of the blue just to republish it only slightly different(you lose all your progress btw). The new reward system is heavily dependent on nova shards to beat higher difficulty but it's rare or expensive. You also get rewarded with scraps whenever you get 'duplicate' loot which shouldn't exist in the first place if it isn't being properly compensated. The greed in this game shows a lot and I have to constantly ignore it.

It's a fun game, I genuinely like it. I don't feel pressured to spend money if I don't want to and there are no ads. I would give it a much higher review except I'm constantly unable to after closing the game. I get stuck on the logging in screen and reinstalling is the only way I can get back into the game. If the game gets fixed or Riot ever gets back to me with the help ticket I put in, I'll put my review back up to five stars.
