Good app, but, as an Alpha sub, I was fairly disappointed in both the satellite data and the model data. One concern is that the model data doesn't have wind barb/particles animation. Second, I hope to see sounding data implemented on the models and observed soundings for the program itself. I feel like regional sectors should be available for everywhere (satellite)and not just select places and storms to increase resolution. I think you guys should include all of the ABI bands/RGB products too.

ALWAYS opens with an ERROR message reading, "your device appears to be offline", when I'm NOT offline, and I have stable mobile data. Takes some seconds, every time, to draw the maps, each time upon opening the radar. The lightning data is not as precise as Radar Scope. Also I cannot load in my Custom Color Table Palette for Base Reflectivity, like I can with Radar Scope. The cities & roads are more numerous than Radar Scope, so that's a plus.

I thought I was paying for at least some of the features as d, but thats not the case; Not only that, it takes too long to load weather map even with a wifi hotspot. The last two things are 1, once the map loads, it takes long to load the time laps even on 21 frames, smh. The last thing, if you leave out the app everything will start over again leading too more loading, thats a big inconvenience if a person is quickly trying to access weather conditions in a urgent situation. This is a really useful app. I feel like it desperately needs the ability to save layouts. Sometimes I want a clean look at a specific source without a ton of overlays that distract from the focus. Everytime I have to click through like 20 menus searching for the various locations of all of the overlays just to get that look, then if I want the old one back to look at a more general look I have to find them one by one and add them. Having profiles would be really helpful.

Probably the best radar app on the market. From watching hurricanes from states away, to making sure a tornado isn't coming directly for me, it works great. My favorite features are the different radar modes and the customizable weather alarm. You can pick from 2 different sounds and pick what alerts it will warn you of. It can also be disabled if it gets too annoying. You can also see a lot of past scans too.

Great app. Only shortcoming is that the app only give an option to "share" screenshots, recordings, or animated GIFs through a choice of other apps. The file does go into a Radar Omega folder, but it would be great to have an actual "Save" button, and where you want it to go.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the app. It includes a lot more features in the base app compared to competitors, and I appreciate the extra detail like tornado emergencies having their own purple/black box separate from normal warnings. However, the UI feels quite dated and laggy, like it's capped at 60FPS which isn't great in the era of 120hz+ phones. Also, minor bug, it keeps saying I'm offline when I open the app, but hitting retry always works.

I love this app it has all the different radars and models you see on the tv all the time! Reflectivity and velocity maps have made my storm anxiety disappear! I love that you can see the maps side by side, you can see hail size, and lightning. You can track everything about hurricanes, I do it just for fun, you can even look at pictures from buoys in the ocean. There are so many features that I don't even know how to use, but I love watching the how to videos and learning new weather stuff!
