I used to love this game and would play it every day for years to relax. Now, it has the opposite effect and aggravates me every time I play it. As of the last three months or so, this game constantly freezes and crashes, making it nearly unplayable. I always enjoyed doing the daily challenges and have been doing them daily for the last 5 years or so, but if the game freezes while doing one, it resets when you relaunch the game only to have it freeze and crash again. Very disappointed as of late

I love this game but they don't connect your purchase to your Google , so whenever you get a new phone, or if you ever need to reinstall the app, you have to go through their jenky system to get ads removed again. Last time I did it took three attempts before they fixed it. Now I refuse to deal with them, so I'm just out the 2.99 USD. The game itself is simple, addicting, has beautiful music, and three daily "challenge" games that are fun, so if you're fine with ads, go ahead.

Pop up ads are annoying but otherwise fine. Edit 2021, still playing and enjoying this game. Edit 2023, still playing. No silly gimmicks no dancing penguins. Just a straight up random deal full deck spider game, same as if you were laying cards on a table. In app purchases are only for fancier backgrounds and decks - there's no extra lives, coins, jewels etc. Either the game is solvable and you figure it out, or you try the next game.

Excellent gameplay. Ads are not intrusive. Sometimes hard to select one card from a series, but that gets better with experience. Since my 2017 review, full screen ads were added. Some override the phone's settings and play audio even when the phone is muted. You can pay a fee to remove the ads, but when I did, the game stopped go to landscape mode. Customer Service's solution didn't work, so I play the free version. I have enjoyed this app for years. Just be aware it is not perfect.

one of my favorite apps. very much like the classic pc version, brings back memories! I like being able to set some of the rules, and it's very helpful that it shows when a stack isn't in order. the daily challenges are fun, and it's cool that they're still available later if you don't play that day. there are lots of ads, but that's fair - it's a free app. my only real issue is the controls. they are very finicky, often moving the 2nd card in a stack instead of the whole stack. the undo button is buggy, often ing as trying to exit the game instead of undoing a move, or sometimes both somehow. these aren't huge issues, but they are rather annoying.

I really like spider solitaire, depending on the cases you decide to use it can be a challenge or super easy. This app is straight forward, simple controls but easy to use. The free version has some, semi irritating, ads, but I do google surveys and used some of that money for the paid version. Love the look and the themes, especially the fall version. Recommend it for a simple, but fun version of spider solitaire. Never had issues with either the free or paid versions.

Since the last update, can't play daily challenges because I can't get past the ads. It's continually showing ad, unless I install another BS app. It also lost all the history of daily challenges, which was disappointing. There's a million other Spyder solitaires, don't install this one. Also this won't rotate screen to landscape, unless I rotate on the phone settings. This isn't a new annoyance, it's always been like this.

4/10. I used to love playing this game. I even paid to have ads removed. But I uninstalled and reinstalled and now I have ads before and after EVERY game. I cannot restore my prior purchase nor can I find a way to pay to have ads removed. Very frustrating. Great time killer. I play til my eyes cross
