I have had this app for many years, it was my only go-to. Till recent changes were made. Radar is so hard for me to see and the 10-day Forcast is completely gone since the update. It used to be friendly and I recommended it to everyone. Now, I am looking for a replacement and will be removing this app. Sometimes things are perfect the way they are.

They updated/changed the entire look of this app toward the end of June 2024. The new version lacks the details and quick links of the older version; looks childish; has too many links to touch instead of being displayed within the app. I imagine the retirement of KPRC's main forecaster, Frank Billingsley, prompted this "update", which is actually a regression of the app's quality and functionality. GOTTA FIND A NEW APP 😑. (I am a resident of Houston.)

My "current location" is inaccurate, and it can't be adjusted. I'm really not a fan of this latest update. I don't use is as much as I used to because it's not giving me the real info I need. I will get a push notification that some weather event is happening at my current location. But it's actually 15 miles away. Please fix this disaster. Or at least let me edit to reflect my real location. Not a fan.

I've had this app since it came out. I used to like this app. Used it everyday. I HATE the new bright white maps. Makes it hard to zero in on an area. Less roads are shown. Bring back the satellite images, with more road details. I'm going to have to search for something like this used to be, instead of regional map now it is just a national generic map and not in a good way.

I don't like the update. I used to be able to check the radar and had so many options! This new version of radar looks like it was done by a child. No more zooming in and out anywhere in the world and seeing street level, water depth, or cloud cover. I want the old version back!

Wish the notifications had choices, so you could receive warnings only for tornadoes, severe thunderstorms with hail, etc. I don't need a notification every couple of hours to tell me it is hot outside! It's always hot outside in Houston in the summer! Where is the help to explain the various types of notifications? What is "Channel Baron"? Why is "NWS Watches and Warnings" listed twice?

I had this app for years! And used it every day! It was a great help during storms. But this new update just ruined it. I dont like the layout. I dont like that you dont have the chance to change the radar anymore (for lighting or storms etc) to see it individually... no idea why they had to change it. Absolutely ruined it. I get alerts from them but when you click on it it just opens the app but doesn't actually show what they alerted you about.... wish they would put it back to what it was!!!!

Wish there was a text-based forecast and information similar to the previous version. When Beryl came through and I only had cell service, the videos never loaded. I was pretty much blind with what was happening. Don't get me wrong, having the video forecast is nice in a perfect world, but we all know that doesn't happen all the time.
