its a little difficult and you're gonna have to invest more money. the game costs around 10€ in steam and if you want to have the full game experience, you'll have to spend around the same here too, which I think isn't a bad system. I read somewhere, not sure tho, this was on purpose, so players could try the game out before fully committing to a price, which I , as I think it's a good bridge between being consumer friendly and making money without something like gambling in your games.

The game could be great, but there are some questionable decisions. Firstly, there is a lot of randomness involved; much more than in Slay the Spire for example. Even if you have no RNG in your own cards, enemy can inflict you a RNG-heavy debuff that makes you either miss your attacks or critical hit. Secondly, you can't ignore to take card rewards. The price curve to remove them is steep, so you better hope you get some good cards else the build you were going for is screwed! Can't write more.

Don't worry, most of the stuff can be purchased with in-game currency, I'm sure the rest are optional and I think the prices are fine. I only started playing this week but I've already spent lots of hours on it, it's fun and quite challenging. The most important thing is probably knowing what the enemies can do and how to deal with them. Yes, it's a bit grindy, but earning 500+ gold in a run which possible to finish in less than 30mn isn't that bad! Just have fun with what you currently have :)

What a Game! I have loved every minute of this game. It feels perfectly balanced between strategy, chance, and difficulty, I love that you can set it down at any time, and pick it up again when time allows. I love the difficulty progression, which leaves me always right at the cusp of mastering the game, only to encounter a new challenge. I am blown away by the sheer volume of cards and the level of detail put into card descriptions. Some are darn near poetic! The game is perfect!

I spent far too many hours on this. Fantastic game. Hands down most played mobile game, and my only mobile game too. Doing every quest and unlocking every character takes ages, which is a good thing. Always something to progress to get a new card or relic. Great variety of builds for different characters. Most importantly: NO ADS!!! I even bought paid characters and boosters, it's completely optional but I feel for this game it's completely worth it. If you get one mobile game, get this one.

For a roguelike, it doesn't really do it for me. When I lose I don't think "oh, I lost, at least I got something to help me the next run", what I do think is "oh, I lost, guess I have to try again and hope I get further". The game comes off monotonously as there isn't much you can do to help make more progress the next run so you can unlock new characters. There is a handful of upgrades, but you can only use one at a time, you can also unlock new cards but those cards aren't necessarily better.

One of my favorites. I have 145 hrs on Switch, and had to buy it on my phone! I just wish there weren't so many microtransactions on the phone version. On Switch, you pay one price and get the full game (and then of course you unlock everything from playing which is the fun of it)

Slow animations prevent playing until they finish. Slow unlocking of cards, most are as bad as the starting ones. Some fights are two in one without warning. An ok alternative to StS. Cannot skip a bad card reward but can upgrade multiple times for a rising cost. Healing items can target enemies.
