Finally! I have tried many other apps offering on device encryption of files and folders, sadly most want you to engage with their cloud storage and in my experience with my connection speeds that makes them extremely slow. This app allows you to encrypt files and folders right on your phone and does it extremely quickly. The interface is a bit old fashioned but I like it all the same it's straightforward and easily understood. Considering others subscription prices this is a give away.Thanks

First encryption app. Since then I've tried multiple programs on various platforms both paid & free. However, I always ended up using Paranoia Works more. They did the same things the other's did, if not more; had a -friendly interface, useful information in the help section, great cross-platform compatibility, and they had the best price for all that functionality - Free & Ad Free, and a low one-time price for pro.

Works good for me. I've been using secure folder and Knox, but it's function is suspect at times. No specific directions to use it. For instance it won't backup .enc files.🤔 So, went on a search and found your SSE encryption app. Open source is a good thing. Already went Pro just to the project if nothing else. 👍

A fantastic App- for sending sensitive information from one phone / pc to the other. It is easy to setup & use & beautifully laid out. It incorporates a safe to store data & an easy to use data encryption tool . As with most App-s takes a bit of practice but soon you will get to grips. The customer service is also very pleasant and helpful. This is a fantastic App-for any phone & desktop. The guides included in the app helps you through the setup & use process Try it you won't be disappointed.

Really really good. One suggestion would be to rename the sample folders in the Vault: 'click to view' could be renamed 'A tip: click to view' and the icon could be changed to the lightbulb. The letter 'a' is to keep it at the top (A-Z). Thanks to the developer for all the effort put into this, it's great! Edit: Thanks for implementing my little GUI suggestion.

Only app i know of that do file encryption (I searched a lot) and actually works (many claim but don't), no adds, not intrusive. Long ago installed this app but there were too many issues so I rated it 2, and uninstalled it. But not finding any other working encryption app I tried this app again and all issues has been resolved and works great. However, wiping a folder, using Android kitkat, twice crashed, each time wiping some of the files, and finally after 3 run all files were wiped)

Been using this app for years, and it's the best of is kind by a country mile. It lacks just one thing, that is, the ability to hide a file in an image. You can hide text in an image, but not a file. If that could be added in an update, I'll revise my 4 stars to 5 stars . There's no apps in the play store that can do that, so making this the first one would be fantastic

I’ve been using this for years now on an Android phone, an ipad mini and a desktop. Works great. I’ve never lost data except when I misplaced a . If you’re going to encrypt notes to place somewhere like Google Drive, ensure that there are no blank spaces before or after the text, or it will not decrypt. You could be typing in the correctly all day, thinking you failed. NO SPACES. I have some occasional strangeness on the ipad mini with rendering at the bottom of the screen, but everything works. A wonderful app. Thank you for creating it.
