Older version was working flawless. After updates connection with TV is impossible. "No response from device" error always. Somehow I was able to connect Only once by manually input of IP address of TV.

I can actually close the ads fast and wen you open it it opens the tv I highly recommend it.

Volume control is reverse for the remote closest to mine (the simplest remote choice), weird but fine. Trying to figure out how to try a different one to see if it changes things. The biggest plus for this is the app does not require pressing a button 20 times like the physical remote sometime does. Thought 4☆, thought wrong. Scrolling through an external hdd had two full screen ads pop up before I got to the file I wanted (15x tap-right... TWO spam ads... ffs, garbage).

this app is made for us to use the remote from the phone right , because we can't find our remote but when i connect it,it gives me permission so that means i have to use the remote to accept but the thing is that i can't find my remote. but i don't know if that is from the TV

1st Samsung remote app where all the buttons are functioning. No [Sleep] button but has a [Settings] button so I can control that; also has an option to suggest I add my remote to the app by model number which is thoughtful of the developers. Also s both IR blaster for my old LG G5 and Wi-Fi for my newer Galaxy A42 5G w/o IR. Does have frequent ads but I WILL be paying the $1.49 to remove them. Well worth the price for an app that all the buttons actually function properly as they should.

I'm glad to find a Samsung remote app that I can buy and not have ads. Thank you so much for thinking about the people that don't like ads and want to help the developer. Just a suggestion to add but to include a widget for this app so people can just go to the remote without starting the app.

This is the first wifi remote I've found that actually works. Samsung SmartThings insisted on using Bluetooth, which really sucks. Paid for it straight away. It doesn't my exact remote, so it's not perfect, but most of the buttons work.
