The most used portion of the Apple TV remote is not available for the free version. & if I'm gonna have to pay to use my remote through an app that I might as well just buy a new remote.

This most likely is a Trojan malware. It works fine, but it overrides a lot of things. For example, it's full of ads that you can "skip", but when you tap the skip button it takes you to the Google Play page to that app. Avoid ing, find another remote app, as this one is probably stealing your info and spreading malware

I tested 6 different Remote Appe TV apps. This is the only one that worked on my Samsung S10+. All the other apps stated my phone does not have ar IR blaster. You need to pay 9.99/yr to take advantage of all the features that worked great... for 1 day! When trying to run, it lists my Apple TV, but now it won't connect. Yes-phone & Apple TV on same network. Uninstalled & re-installed made no difference. App has potential- if it worked! I will cancel my 7 day trial. Too bad.

This is not a "FREE" app as d. Once down loaded it worked for only three clicks then ments started popping up for the seven day trial offer. If you don't select the trial offer it will not work. And, I am sure like most people, you will forget about the trial period and get charged. Other than that, the app works adequately. Be aware you will not be able to control your TV volume as you can with the regular Apple TV remote.

It works...mostly. You can't use the hand touch unless you buy rights to it. This prevents functions that require swiping from being executed. The fee is annual rather than an outright purchase. The commercials are ridiculous. You have to watch commercials every few clicks. I typed in a search name on a show and had to watch four sets of commercials in between the letters. Sometimes they are in foreign languages so you don't know which button to press.

This is awful, even as a short term solution. I ed this while I waited to receive a replacement remote, but the amount of ads is ENRAGING. I understand the ads on a free version, but most of the time they don't even have a close button! I constantly have to restart the app, even just switching channels. Absolutely ridiculous.

The paid ads take over your screen for between 3 and 10 seconds - an awful feature on a remote control app because it interrupts doing what the app is designed to do. The ads also cannot be closed until the time elapses. I don't mind presenting ads to fund the software development but this kind of garbage actually makes the app barely useful all while annoying the heck out of you. It also tries to trap your clicks and redirected to the Play Store to install the app being d. JUNK!

I was gonna buy the version since the basic version doesn't connect anymore and it is riddled with ads. Thanks to all the reviews here, I now know that the version is broken as well. Please fix this ASAP. Added 2 hours after the initial review: I have found my apple TV remote after a month of searching for it. Time to uninstall!!!
