The Sunrise Sunset Calculator is a free application that lets you find the following timings for either your current location or any given location on the earth:

1) Sunrise and sunset
2) Civil Dawn and Dusk
3) Nautical Dawn and Dusk
4) Astronomical Dawn and Dusk

The computation is done using the formulae at http://www.edwilliams.org/sunrise_sunset_algorithm.htm. Note that since these formulae do not take into the elevation of the place, the computed values may be slightly inaccurate for places much above sea level.

The Sunrise Sunset Calculator also has the following features:

1) It lets you to set alarms at sunrise, sunset and any of the above dawn or dusk times.
2) It also lets you set alarms with offsets to any of these time, for ex. 10 mins before dusk.
3) It lets you search sun in the sky map.

All of the features currently ed by the app are free.

Oh, I just love being able to follow the arrow and know exactly where the Sun is. And which planets are near where I live. I never expected to get so much neat stuff with sunrise sunset calculator when I ed it. Thank you, developers for a delightful, interesting and useful app! 😍

Great simple sr/ss reference with dawn, dusk etc in simple easy format. Can check future dates for camping planning etc. Coolest feature is locating and identifying planets by just pointing your phone.

You Need to update Your app to be able to change the Time zone . Or to able to turn off DST . don't like or use DST. like to have sunrises and sunsets shown as standard time all year . That's true time DST is fake time .I don't understand why people like to believe lies by using stupid DST.

Good app but an improvement would be to list the various times in chronological order... i.e. Astronomical Dawn, Nautical Dawn, Dawn, Sunrise, Sunset, Dusk, Nautical Dusk, Astronomical Dusk
