Kalb Wx is my go-to weather app. I love being able to access weather that is forecast by actual local meteorologists. Their radar is great! I love being able to slow it down and pause or back it up to see exactly when it will be over my location. The one complaint I have with the app is every time I go to open it, I have to wait for an ad to load before I can actually view the forecast. I wish Kalb would offer the option of getting the app as paid and ad-free.

I watch News Channel 5 and I was thrilled when I discovered that they got a weather app. I know that there have been updates over the past few months, but I liked the old design for the map features. Earlier, I could not only zoom in perfectly centered with a double-tap on the screen, but I could also slide the map until I could view the other side of the earth and view minute-by-minute weather phenomena. It even loaded faster. 😕 Could someone please bring the old map back?

Terrible. Thee app is worse than the news brodcast. It gives a notification then u open app to say 'maybe more rain thurs, more at 5/6 pm.'- Just like kalb news where they make u watch 30 mins of news(18 mins of commericals and 12 min of leftover noonday news) just to get a forecast that has been off the whole week ive had it. Accuweather, a nationwide weathercast, is more accurate than our local station. ???Theres no allergycast either, which would be nice for a localized app. Uninstalling.

The videos have very low sound. Even with my vol turned up all the way, I have to hold my phone next to my ear. The future radar track could use a lot of improvement. It's not very accurate. The hour by hour & daily forecast on the app, don't always reflect what ch 5 weather broadcasts.

Once the new update was installed the weather alerts were gone. You might get on out of the blue. The app has been locking up and not respond. Working outdoors you relay on getting good forecast and app is unreliable. Android . Updates are not always a good thing.

It's more straightforward and -friendly than most nationally prominent weather apps. It allows for storm cell specifics and "future-cast" projections. The forecast given for a specific day uses the same general language as the Weather Channel's "Local On The 8s".

Not even close on accuracy and "Howdy Doodys" Tyler's post are an additional aggravation. If they 1/2 tried to get the forecasts right and eliminated all the fluff it would be great app. The live radar is the only redeeming quality.
