I used to have Hulu on my Samsung tv, NEVER an issue. Never even thought about the fact that it was a separately ed app that would not work on a different brand of TV. Fast forward a few years, I currently own a TCL and the Hulu app is the ONLY ISSUE. The PAID app consistently fails; ex: watching a series, doesn't matter what, won't advance to next episode, error. Can't get into app for days. I've cleaned the cache, but it doesn't matter. Work around access through Disney not solution!

App doesn't work. It starts playing ads then crashes. I have the bundle with Disney and I can get in that app just fine and watch Hulu content. Tried the last 3 days and even un-installed and reinstalled it. Stinks because my watched progress on my shows is on hulu and it's a pain to go through Disney and try to figure out where I am in my shows.

Absolute garbage app on Android TV (as well as XBox One AND PC). Laggy as hell, audio is never synced, stops working randomly for no apparent reason so often that I'm restarting it minimum 2-3 times a week, and too much more to fit here. Shame because Hulu's library is one of the best of any streaming service, but their app(s) are so frustratingly unusable that I'm finally done trying. Once my partner is done her current shows we'll be cancelling our and never looking back. Unreal.

Wow, idk WHAT Disney did but the app is UNUSABLE on my Shield now. Laggy as all get out, constant "were having trouble loading that" messages, uninstall/reinstall don't do anything. Barely could get reauthenticated to try it out again. Hulu was the bomb before this, a shame to see it start circling the drain so suddenly. Absolute garbage app now.

This app is unusable. It is absolute garbage. I have to constantly restart it to keep it working. Reading the other reviews it appears I'm not alone. You'd think that with all of the money that Disney has they could afford to hire some software engineers who know what they're doing. It is the ONLY streaming app I have that is this unusable.

Since the last update HULU for Android tv is unusable ( had to cancel hulu + no adverts ) Only plays one episode of anything, then nothing more. Have to restart the TV and the app to watch another episode and so on... Something went really bad.. ( I reinstalled it many times, no help at all ) PC browser and Cellphone android plays fine, only HULU for Android tv went bad since the last update ( oct 22 )

Since most recent update, I cannot use Hulu on my TV. It only sits on profile screen with my name and 'new profile' and will not continue. I have to restart my TV to use something else. PLEASE FIX THIS!! I AM MISSING SHOWS! Also prior to this, there seems to be no way to get 5.1 Audio from this app. Now it won't work at all. I hope all of this is fixed soon or I will have to cancel my useless subscription.

When I click on a show it loads the opening Hulu Original splash screen and then freezes and crashes my Chromecast with GoogleTv. The device then restarts. I just tried to resume an episode I had started on my Roku and it played 30 seconds of a commercial then froze and started a loud clicking noise I had to unplug my Chromecast. I've reported to and they said they've had other reports of the same thing happening but apparently they are in no rush to fix it. Developers should be embarrassed. I guess I'll have to find other ways to watch the shows.
