I use the free version, but I'm strongly considering subscribing. I've noticed a big jump in my comprehension since using it, and I feel like the bite-sized quizzes on a vast variety of topics helps me find and amend my trouble areas and also serves to reassure me of my progress when I get something right that I wasn't sure if I was sure about, if that makes sense? Long story short, this app is effectively helping me to replace my English.

This is from a perspective of a long time language learner. App is easy to follow with well structered lessons. Good variety of levels for all learner from A1-C1. Well coded interface unlike some other apps that I've had the displeasure of using. App offers a lot of features even without subscription, however buying is definitly worth it. Will definitely recommend for sure.

I've used probably 6 different language apps to try to learn German. As anyone who has tried to learn German with gamified apps would know, learning the rules of German grammar is not easy. Grammatisch has the best grammar-related lessons I've seen so far. Others are better for vocabulary but that only gets you so far if you can't put a sentence together. I have not tried the subscription yet but, depending on how good my experience has been, I probably will.

Excellent app for learning German grammar and makes for a great complement to other traditional learning apps! Some improvement suggestions: * Show cards more frequently if they were answered incorrectly before, like a spaced repetition system. * The conjugation exercises have too much input required and can be memorized without understanding. Separating into separate cards would avoid these problems. * Display the correct answer immediately. * Show the translations in the answers at the end.

Clean interface and straightforward lessons. Makes it very easy to see where my weak spots are. I would like to see a feature that shows my score history on each lesson (and maybe a section of the app with overall ratings by lesson category) so I can see how I've developed over time, but even without that, this is quite nice. I plan to get a half year subscription with my next paycheck.

Overall, very well designed app. Pleasing to use, contains good exercises for learners, but it has one fatal flaw. The subscription model is predatory and the prices you are asking for what you are offering (because you can find similar exercises for free in numerous places, albeit with less pretty UI) are ridiculous. I understand that you need money, but I see far more people buying and enjoying your app if you were to offer a paid version at a reasonable fixed price. (~$4 to $5)

I like this app very much especially for people like me who needs structure in learning and not necessarily only fun. But I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because for me there is definitely too little variation in the exercises. The same sentences are repeated and repeated and I don't think that this method in the end helps much. I of course learn the grammar rule that I have to learn in the end but a bit more of variation in the examples would help me for sure to learn more.

$50 a year "subscription" price for an offline app where none of the material ever changes is ridiculous. I'd pay $5 for this as a one time payment, but having this as a subscription is beyond shameless and insulting. Save your money and just buy a "Grammatik Aktiv" workbook from "Deutsch als Fremdsprache" for $15, that won't have a subscription (or annoying ads) and has actual explanations that help you understand the grammar rules.
