Very positive. Features much appreciated. Works well. Recommend highly. A suggestion: Add the ability to group books (like by series) on the play screen. I realize such a feat can be done somewhat when selecting the files, but often this requires renaming files or similar shenanigans. A small bug: at time of writing, app crashes when device is locked when device is on power saver. This did not previously happen (as I never switch power saver off) but now does.

It was the best app when it came to listening too a wide variety of audiobook types. It's got a simple and intuitive interface and is not bloated with random features. Unfortunately, since the most recent update the app has stopped automatically marking audio books as completed when driver listening to them. They all forever remain stuck at 99% until the manually marks them as complete.

There are plenty of great audiobook apps out there, with useful features, no ads, and are feature complete without having to pay. PlayBook also has all of these things, but it is elevated further by the consideration that has clearly gone into its UX. The UI is beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic and smooth animations. Well thought-out gestures and the customisable elements of the UI is what, for me, gives PlayBook the edge over other apps in the category.

This is the single best audiobook player I've encountered so far. All the features I had missed in previous versions were added, like the ability to add covers from the device's file system or to use audiobook sub-subfolders. I particularly like the option to rename book title and author, the sleep timer and the playback speed setting. The design is simple, yet beautiful and customizable. Amazing app!

Simple and works well. Requires a little "manual input" meaning making sure your files for books are in an appropriate folder, but it's very simple and I like the freedom and security of knowing it's done right. Once you have your folders selected in the app, the books display properly and I've had no issues. No ads. Plenty of settings to tune things to your liking but I find the default settings perfectly fine.

App is pretty good, with a nice clean interface and looks rather professional. I have trouble with how it structures my books but it's not so bad. However, the latest update seems to have broken something. I play with the speed turned up to 1.4x multiplyer and when I pause it it seems to skip ahead. I have to rewind back constantly now.

Still no update. Looks nice but it's super buggy. FWD/RWD isn't consistent, sometimes it goes back or forward on its own and leaves you lost. Bookmarks are a bit basic. Adding covers doesn't always stick and makes it annoying/tedious. Old: I got a new phone and transferring things over was a major pain. It'd be great if there was a system for backing up and restoring settings, covers, and audiobook data like progress and bookmarks. Also, it could use basic features like undo.

Very useful, easy to use, ads free, i love it. Just somethink i dreamed about i guess. P.s. For the developers: 1. Would be nice to add at least as an option the volume slider under the play/pause button 2. Instead of the EDIT button, would be nice to see a nice + button or something like this, would look better i think and same with the settings one 3. I'd change the app icon with something more minimalistic like a simple logo, something suitable for thr new material you design of android 12.
