Perfect audiobook player. Thank you for making it FOSS. Just one issue: In some audiobooks there's an issue where in long chapters, the seek bar doesn't match the actual progress of the chapter. So if I paused playback and resume right after, it's starts later in the chapter. If I didn't pause, the progress bar goes to the end but the chapter still isn't over. For example the chapter is 50min, it goes for around 51:00. If I paused and resumed at that point, the player jumps to the next chapter.

Perfect app? Maybe not the best on earth, but limitations exist in all things. This is by far the best free audiobook file player available. It has all of the necessary features including a feature I REALLY wish Audible had: auto rewind on pause. Playback speed adjustment, audio boost, bookmarks, custom directories, the whole 9. Can't really get much better. Oh, and it's ad free.

I'm very glad I found this app. Has a lot of features for customizing playback like bookmarks, speed, volume boost, equalizer, sleep timer, skipping silences.... Very impressed with this app! Every once in a while when I pause it will stutter the playback in my car for a few seconds and then work. I don't think this is an app issue but an issue with the bluetooth in my vehicle. I don't see this issue with my bluetooth speakers / headphones. If you're looking for a simple to use audiobook manager for your audiobook files, this is the one! Thanks Paul!

As an avid audiobook listener, stumbling upon the Voice Audiobook Player app was a stroke of luck. This gem on the Play Store has quickly become my go-to for immersive literary experiences. A free, intuitive app with essential features for immersive listening. Simple interface, seamless playback controls, and what truly sets this Player apart is its commitment to being completely free. In an age where quality often comes with a price tag, the developers deserve immense gratitude. Kudos to them!

This is the best app for audiobooks, period. I would just like to point out one thing, it would look better if the android navigation bar was not black and followed the theme color like in many other apps nowadays. Other than that another feature I'd like to see added is the ability to group audiobooks into folders/categories/tags.

The app has a pleasant, clean, easy-to-use UI that does exactly what I want. It has started to lose my place in audiobooks, though, so I always have to where I was and fast forward to it. The playback-speed and silence skipping features are pretty nice. I recommend trying it and seeing if it works for you

Hate the April 2023 update Edit- To clarify from my rather abrupt statement its been a stellar app in the past for audio books. Due to its simple clean interface, ability to play in the background, autoupdate of books in folders, handy volume boost etc. Since the update it is constantly showing an obnoxious "loading books" blue line when opened. We've lost the ability to collapse books which was handy for large collections it freezes in background the ff arrows are gone and books lost bookmarks

Used to be so much better. Why did you take away all of the sort options? The UI sucks now. I want to be able to see all of my audiobooks and be able to sort them by either title or author. Please revert. I have about 75 audiobooks in my library, many in which I listen to time and again. Please make this easier to navigate.
