HOW TO HAIL WITH ARRO:
At the bottom of the home screen, tap the box labeled "I NEED TO HAIL A TAXI". Begin entering your destination in the box labeled "Where are you going?" and confirm from the list of destinations provided. You'll receive a fare estimate, route preview, and ETA of the nearest available driver. When you're ready to hail, tap "REQUEST RIDE" at the bottom of the screen to be matched with a driver. When the ride is over, the fare is paid automatically with the card on file or another payment method of your choosing.
HOW TO PAY WITH ARRO:
USA: If you are already in a taxi that you didn’t hail with our app, you can still use ARRO for faster payment! From the home screen, tap “I'M ALREADY IN A TAXI”, then enter the 7-digit check-in code displayed at the top of the taxi’s screen to pair the taximeter with your ARRO . At the end of your trip, your fare will be paid automatically and your receipt will be emailed to you!
LONDON: You can use ARRO to pay for all Black Taxis in London. From the home screen, tap “I'M ALREADY IN A TAXI”. Then, request the check-in code from your driver and enter the 7-digit code to pair the taximeter with your ARRO . At the end of your trip, your fare will be paid automatically and your receipt will be emailed to you!

This app sucks. The setup takes too long, you can't by all the location settings when you're already in a taxi, and if you don't share location, the app will glitch and absolutely not function. Best alternative is to skip it and take a taxi with the curb app.

When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, it is just a waste of time. Sadly this app is not reliable. Only works about half the time over past 5+ years. Most recently, upon landing at O'Hare, the app forgot my credit card, and after entering it again, the app crashes when I click 'im in taxi'. Rebooted phone , reinstalled app 2x. Still just crashes when I try to check in and pay. It's not that hard guys. Make an app that works, if you want to actually compete with ride share.

The arro app keeps on crashing when I enter the already in a taxi option. This makes it unusable. I have installed and uninstalled the apps number of times. The issue persists. I am on an android phone running Android 14. Additionally, the form on the website also does not work.

IT WORKS AGAIN! In my opinion, this is the best taxi app because it's free and it works. However, I was not able to use the app for over a year because I got a "sorry, there was a problem" error message every time I opened it. Rather than telling me to re-enter my credit card info, the app just kept giving this default error message. Tech couldn't figure it out either. I would have used Arro dozens more times if it had worked. A lot of reviews are negative because of this exact problem. Seems like it would be an easy fix.

1st time ing it AND while I was in the cab! I hailed the cab on the street, ed it in the car and set it up. It worked perfectly!! I was running late for the airport and every minute counted. I was able to check in and pay before I even got out. Everything was a breeze!! I hate to use Lyft or Uber in New York City because that's a taxi town! Arro makes cabs competitive with those platforms. Thank you ARRO!!!!!

The GO-TO app to get in and out of your cab. I have used the mostly to pay for a ride once I am in a cab, but also to hail a cab especially when going to the airport early morning. Works great. Setup is like everything else these days. From there on it is seamless. The aspect I find most attractive for both rider and driver is once in the cab, you can pair with the cab and select the tip amount thereby circumventing the timely payment process at the end. You can jump and and go.

I had the app for a couple years. I haven't used it in a while because I wasn't taking many taxis. I tried to sign in, so I used the option to change it. I received the confirmation number and entered it, the app gives me an error but goes to the next page to update . I enter the new but it freezes, every time I do this. I never was able to sign in again so I removed the app and will use Curb app when I can now. App needs an upgrade. It just doesn't work.

Installing all the ride apps for Chicago in advance of trip. Uber, Lyft, Via, Curb and Arro. Arro was the only one that totally failed with the setup process. Wouldn't take the CC I had used in all the other apps. Manually or scanned. Get it together.
