Different Game Modes
Play Spades in multiple game modes to experience the different gaming fun. Select whichever you like and enjoy by yourself or with your partner.
Solo: Bid the number of trick you expect to take in your turn.
Partner: The bids by two are added together.
Suicide: Play as 2V2. You must bid either Nil or at least four tricks. You partner have to bid the opposite.
Whiz: Play as 2V2. You must bid the exact number of spades in your hand or go Nil. Blind bidding is not allowed.
Mirror: Similar to Whiz, you must bid the number of spades in their hand. However you cannot go Nil unless you have no spades.
Board: Play as 2V2, the team must bid at least four tricks or go Double Nil.
Basic Rules:
You can bid the number of trick you expect to take in your turn. A bid of “zero” is called “nil”. In partnership Spades, the bids by two are added together.
You must follow suit of the first card if you can; otherwise you may play any card, including a trump Spade.
You may not lead Spades until a spade is played to trump another trick.
The trick is won by the player who played the highest card of the led suit – or if trumps were played, the highest trump card wins.
Whoever or whichever team reaches the exact number of the bid will win the game.

UI is crisp, app runs smoothly. AI is decent, not the smartest but decent. Ads are excessive. An ad between each round and an ad if you try to quit the game. The amount of ads approaches the limit of what I would consider tolerable. Yet still I play, so I guess that's what they're going for.

First thing to all those complaining about adds, just turn off wifi and data from phone. No more adds and play a quick game. I only play against AI and the AI is programed to play at which skill level you choose. At most difficult level the AI cheats, it knows your cards. Your AI partner will bag, duck and cut you at every opportunity. Just terrible!! After additional play I have come to the conclusion that your AI partner always plays a solo game regardless if you are in a team game.

I listed this app as a 5 star rating for the SOLE PURPOSE of STOPPING those people from installing it. I've been playing this game all day long and it started out GREAT!! By the 4th or 5th hand I was getting dealt a bunch of hearts and 3 or 4 other low case cards, with NO chance of winning!! There was a hint of maybe winning a few times BUT no such luck! Save yourselves the aggravation, do not install this game!! DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A FAIR SPADES GAME ... ... anyone?!?!

I thought I had found a spades game I could buy. I had given it five stars after playing for a day. I'm a pro, have been for YEARS. Unfortunately the pardner feature doesn't work as it SHOULD. This game allows the partner to play cards that prevent the other partner from going under. It also leads Kings when Aces haven't been played. It's like partnering with a rank beginner. I'm so disappointed. Lovely graphics. The ads are tolerable. Fix the game for pro play and you get five stars back.

This is the best spades game out here, trust me I've played just about all of them. What I like most is the speed, it's not like those games where you log on everybody super quick, then I guess decide they wanna multitask and forget they started a game, now they playing all slow and the computer playing for them, making you not want to play anymore, well not on here, if you play you are playing.

The opponent knows your cards. The opponent ai playing right before you, in partner mode, will hold back high cards if it knows you can't beat what was played by its partner. It knows when you are freshly out of the suit their partner played and will always play a spade to try and foil you. It never does this unless you are out of that suit. This is a big no no and ruins it. EDIT: You need to change the logic so that the AI doesn't know opponents hands. That logic should never exist.

Way too many ads, I would like to play the game, not click away ads every 5 minutes. Plus the robotic partner doesn't know how to cover a nil or bid without getting 2 bags every hand. It sucks

Another game that can read your hand and cheat u out of your game. All I needed was 30pts to win the game and it dealt me every impossible hand hand it could to keep me from getting those 30pts until it cheated me out of the 10pts I bid for. And it set me and the computer players won after they needed 100+ pts.
