In my original review I said that the game was a bit too much pay to win as the people who can pay can just decide to fly right into you and then you both blow up. (As you can pay for extra lives) But the other thing I didn't like was how the game would lag super hard whenever I tried shooting thankfully this has been fixed. PS The planes campaign is my favorite :)

This game has a lot of potential, & I'd love to give it a 5 star! Unfortunately, two major things keep me from that. 1. Starting out or even low levels just get absolutely destroyed by higher level players and their stronger higher level equipment. Makes it more frustrating than fun when you're learning the controllers and enemies are killing you with one shot or in a few seconds of starting the game. 2. This is an ABSOLUTELY pay to win game! You'll probably spend like $150 USD just to compete

Fun game, but frustrating. Everything is behind a paywall for the most part. Gaining levels from the 4th to 5th and beyond will take nearly an entire day or longer. Some of the mechanics are iffy, driving especially. It's unbelievably easy to drift the tanks when turning. You are probably going to get one-shotted quite a bit, and you are going to spend precious ammo on one enemy more than likely. Before u start, learn how the ammo and shot placements work as much as possible. Need controller.

I have to say, the graphics for this game are not far behind PC level graphics. But only if you have a phone capable of running the max graphics with Ray tracing on high. The grind is very slow, so be prepared to put in many hours to significantly progress. The physics are also extremely realistic. Overall, this is an excellent game, and I would highly recommend it. Side note. This game also takes up a lot of storage, like 5 gigabytes. Also, when are you guys going to release an air mode?

This game is awesome. I've been playing it for about 6 months now, and I'm still having fun playing it. Although it's a great game, I wish the gun sounds could at least be the old War Thunder gun sounds, like the old 122mm dinging steel on the IS tank, because the current sounds all sort of sound the same and don't feel like they pack a punch, and the older sounds feel like they had more variety. But, all-in-all, this game is great.

Edit: Everything has been fixed and is running smoothly now. The only thing I still want is a dedicated air battle mode. Gameplay is fine but the latest update caused an audio glitch that makes it sound like the audio is scratchy and played from a bad speaker. I also checked with multiple speakers and headphones so I know it is a game issue.

Overall it's a decent game, until the submarines turn it into a cartoon. They are faster than airplanes, fire guided torpedoes at a comical rate while laying a crazy trail of mines. If you shoot at them when surfaced they can submerge in time to dodge your rounds. They can absorb endless full broadsides from multiple battleships before sinking them all. Somebody has a thing for long tubes full of sea-men. It makes the game dumb and unplayable. Put Superman capes on the subs. Might as well.

The mobile version of War Thunder is far more rewarding than the desktop platform version, and progression is a lot faster. My main issue is that there is no way to report players for idling (not participating in the game or doing very little) which is very frustrating as ill have many games (especially naval) where im the top contributing player and almost nobody else did anything and we end up losing. I also dislike the lack of ingame chat. Voice chat would also be nice. Polish the game guys.
