Dropped to 1 stat. This app is awful. No idea how to change network settings. Internet is no help. 2 stars because it kinda works. Not sure why I can walk infront of a camera and not puck me up or why sometimes their so slow the catch the last 1 second of a person walk past my garage. BUT sometimes it works really good so you get 2 stars instead of 1. And no it's not my internet. I have awesome high speed internet.

Feit apparently needs PRECISE location just to control the lights. Complete invasion of privacy to turn some lights on and off. Also, all your info needs to be ed to the cloud to do simple local home voice control. This used to be a three or four-star app, but the need to have a cloud effectively makes this a data harvesting app.

There are better smart bulb brands out there. "Device failed to connect" pops up EVERY TIME I want to use my bedroom lamp. Sometimes it eventually disappears and then I can use it for a min or two, other times I have to go into the app settings and force stop for it to maybe start working sometimes. Update 2/13/25 - its been working a lil better the last couple weeks. Moving from 2 to 2.5 stars.

My first review was too soon. I have several plugs and a smart color chasing strip light. Strip has a length setting now!!. It'd be killer if we could control "per pixel" up to X # of frames per 10 second intervals or something. So close to power perfection! App no longer works for plugs and everything else. Alexa integration worked, but I have to frequently redo the setup for those. Was really hoping they would last. I'm kinda miffed

I am always having trouble with this app. I either have to repeatedly click the button to turn on or off the light. Sometimes, it doesn't even work, which results in me shutting my lamp off entirely. I have made sure my Bluetooth is connected and the light is fully on, but nothing. I have also had problems with the schedule. It is set to turn on and off at a certain time on certain days of the week, but the days it's not schedule to turn on early in the morning, it will and wake me up.

Like the ability to turn a lightbulb way down that my lamp itself doesnt offer. But, its super annoying that the smallest widget is 6 squares. I dont want to give up that much real estate on my home screen but having to click into the app which can lag on opening and then to the light is annoying. Want a one touch on and off...need a single square widget.

Groups have only been working intermittently for weeks. I long tap to adjust a whole fixture, not just individual bulbs, and more often than not get stuck on the loading page with little appliance icons spinning by but no way to adjust the lights other than going one by one into individual bulbs. I paid a lot for smart bulbs to make things more convenient, not less. This is happening on a Pixel phone and a Lenovo tablet.

When seeking through recorded videos, the stream often freezes up and fails. When viewing the Livestream, it often freezes up and fails after a minute or two. Motion detection won't pick up a vehicle in my driveway, but will detect my dog and cats just as far away. Motion detection cannot make any sort of distinction between objects. It's just as likely to capture a spider as it is to capture a human. Cameras have developed a loud buzz with sound turned on.
